Downtown Manteo Studio - 12 minutes to OBX beaches!

Studio apartment was comfortable with new linens and stocked with all the basics. Bottled water in fridge greatly appreciated.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Manteo! Lots of things to see within walking distance, and the beaches aren't far, either.

Our stay could not have been better. Hosts provided beautiful, clean linens, more than ample toiletries, coffee, and even wine/beverages. They were entirely in touch, making sure check-in was smooth and that we were happy with the downtown studio. We will stay there every time it is available and we are in town!

A perfect room for a single or couple looking to check out Manteo and Roanoke Island for a few days. Great location right in town, short walk to shops, art galleries and restaurants. Nice kitchen, washer and dryer, and a comfortable bed. We were very pleased.

This was a very cute place and we have stayed there twice. It's conveniently located in downtown Manteo with a coffee shop, antique stores and a local pub with live music downstairs. It's only a block from the water and lots of restaurants within walking distance. The place is clean, has a comfortable bed, offered coffee pods, bottled water, and a washing machine. We would definitely recommend this lovely place to our family and friends and we plan on staying here again!

The property was immaculately clean. The location great. We were there for 6 nights and really appreciated the fact that there was plenty of toilet paper, coffee, shampoo, body wash, blow dryer, etc. The studio was well stocked which was nice. Bed and pillows were good. We will stay here again!

This was a great place for us to stay on our first visit to the OBX. The location in the middle of the OBX made it easy to visit a a good chunk of the area and it is a short drive to Fort Raleigh, the Wright memorial, and the Hatteras seashore. With the residence being in the heart of the Manteo social district, there are several great restaurants within a brief walking distance so we did not need to jump in the car every night to go to dinner. There are also some great restaurants just about 10-15 minutes drive back to Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills. Our host Laurie met us when we arrived as she had saved a parking spot for us since there was a downtown festival going on the day we arrived. I usually was able to get a spot in front but if those spots were full, there is parking in the back of the building. Laurie is super nice and even carried one of our suitcases up to the unit. The unit was very clean and it was great having a full kitchen and a Keurig machine. There were a good assortment of pods available and we had brought our own with us as well. There were pots, pans, utensils, olive oil and spices. There are two grocery stores just a couple minutes away in Manteo.. The full size bathroom was also nice and there was plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is a huge benefit as you can pack fewer items and run a load of laundry. Also fewer dirty clothes to bring home.

The pictures don't do justice to how nicely decorated this apartment is! Everything we needed for our stay was provided. There were plenty of nice (new) towels. The kitchen was well equipped....but we got take out or went out to eat every night. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. Our Doodle went into a mourning period when we came back home. He had gotten used to being walked over to Festival Park a couple of times a day. We loved the location and would stay there again.

Super clean & cozy

The property was the perfect size for two people and located in the charming downtown area. The property was very clean, the linens and towels were clean and abundent. We would definitely stay in this location again.

Location was wonderful…quiet but close to shopping & activities we were interested in. Great studio apartment layout. Everything we needed was provided, along with extras like water & drinks in the fridge. Extremely clean with tasteful furnishings. Convenient parking! We will definitely want to stay again.

This studio is awesome in every possible way. Owner has really thought of *everything* to make a vacation delightful. Bed comfortable. Bathroom spotless. Kitchen well equipped. Living area is inviting and comfortable. I'm keeping this wonderful place on my radar - and I hope we'll be back!

This is a perfect place for a weekend get-away! My husband and I loved the location and how you can walk to so many shops, restaurants, and the boardwalk. We enjoyed being about 10 minutes from the beach, while still experiencing the quaintness of downtown manteo. Thank you, Laurie, for opening your studio to us!

We had a great time in Manteo. Its an adorable little town and this apartment is in the heart of it all. Check in was easy and everything was clean and comfortable. It was also really nice to be able to bring our pet along. I highly recommend this property.

This place like our home away from home. The attention to small details like fluffy towels, kitchen essentials, comfy bed and and overall decor enhanced our stay. Walkable downtown area made getting to local dinner spots great. Will be back.

My wife and I have stayed in Manteo many times. This is our favorite location to stay. It is located in the center of town. There is a theater, shopping, restaurants, wine bar, brewery and coffee shop within walking distance..
