Stayed Mar 10, 2020The cottage studio felt like home immediately. Even though I was only there for two nights I felt like I was sad to be leaving my new home when I checked out. Small touches like an iHome clock radio that I could connect my phone to and listen to my music while I worked, USB plugs, Earl Grey tea, cream, and others added up to make it perfect for me. The way to cottage was decorated was interesting and not at all trendy or over-the-top. It felt homey and interesting. The prefect antidote to an austere hotel room or an expensive hip, trendy, self conscious hotel.

Stayed Feb 6, 2026The building was hard to find and is in someone’s backyard. The studio was beautiful but it did stay very warm throughout our stay.

Stayed Nov 20, 2025It was a delightful stay! Loved the entire place and everything about it. It was charming and warm and inviting. Everything about it was top notch! I was so delighted to be there. I wish I had had more time to be in the space and do my writing.

Stayed Sep 15, 2025I'm so happy I chose to stay here instead of staying at a large resort in town. I came to OKC for business, but staying in the Carriage House felt more like I was at home. I know I'm going to sound like a typical (north of) Seattle-ite, but I'll say it anyway ... part of my decision to stay here was made over the fact there was a coffee press. Keeping the windows open at night and listening to the birds in the morning while drinking my coffee was magical, unlike the experiences others had staying in a place where everything was plastic and every light was an overhead LED. I felt safe walking in the neighborhood alone, and thoroughly enjoyed being just up the street from the buzz of Midtown. Stay here if you can! The price is right, the location is great and the Carriage House and its host are perfect.

Stayed May 27, 2025This was my fifth stay at this vrbo.It gets better every year, in part because Michale listens to constructive criticism and keeps making improvements. The AC settings are perfect, the wifi is fast and reliable. The kitchen has ample supply of cooking material. The place is very clean (although the areas under the bed and sofa had a few dust bunnies).

Stayed Dec 20, 2024We tried to contact the owner about turning the heat up with no response. It was pretty cool in there and just asked if we could turn it up a couple degrees. There was a lock on the thermostat.

Stayed Mar 17, 2025Thank you for the lovely place to stay in Oklahoma City. I must mention the door and lock need attention. It looks like it can be repaired with a hammer and nail. Otherwise I enjoyed the quiet, books and cozy quality of the single apartment.

Stayed Mar 10, 2025The spot was cute, very centrally located and around a bunch of great places to pop around. However, when I arrived I wasn’t greeted warmly. I mistakenly parked in the wrong area, as I was unloading my bags and was told “I must have not read the whole ad”, and that I needed to move. Which wasn’t a problem, it’s just it would have been nice to say hello and have the host introduce themselves before being brash with their guests. Especially after I had driven 5 hours. The place wasn’t as clean as pictured. The fridge could have used a wipe down, dishes weren’t all the way clean, and after using the tub bugs appeared from the drain. I’m guessing it is just an older spot and the tub doesn’t get used often? Unsure. I also suggest having an eye mask if you stay here because where the bed is located the hosts multiple porch and security lights are shining right into the area the bed is in. Makes it very difficult to sleep. I probably won’t go here again because my experience wasn’t as hoped. But the spot is cute and centrally located if that’s what you’re looking for.
