Downtown 2nd Floor Apartment with Dramatic Lake Views.

Very nice and clean apartment.

Perfect place to stay if you like to park your car & walk. Just a couple minutes to Bayfront Park & Bear River Area. 10 min. to downtown shopping and dining. Or you could just stay at the apartment and sit on the deck or grill on the patio.

Cozy and perfect for two adults! Tons of places to walk and enjoy the lake. Wonderful upstairs deck. To those sensitive to road noise, you will hear it during the day and then nothing at night.

Enjoyed stay. Place is lovely just like pictured. Petoskey is charming. Will visit again.

Clean and comfortable

Great place to stay in Petoskey! Clean, close to everything- shopping, restaurants and trails plus the beautiful Bay.

Upscale apartment -- loved the dedicated parking space -- very convenient to shops/restaurants in Petosky -- yes, there is a busy street in front, but bedroom is in the back & no trouble sleeping. A wonderful oasis.

My husband and I loved staying at Upstairs at the Lake! It’s an immaculate property, thoughtfully decorated with a comfortable king bed and very conveniently located. There is a bit of road noise but it didn’t bother us. Loved relaxing on the porch at the end of each day, enjoying the views of Lake Michigan. Easy and helpful communication with Diana. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay in this apartment—it made the perfect home base for our first trip to Northern Michigan. The unit is beautifully finished and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The only downsides were its location on a busy road and the sleeping arrangements: while it’s listed for four guests, there’s only one king bed and no pull-out sofa.

This is a Beautiful, well maintained property! Close to downtown shopping and the shore. Plenty of books for any tired feet or a rainy day and of course a TV which includes premium channels. I rate this a 5 star.

We loved our stay. The apartment is well appointed and beautifully decorated, and the location is ideal - close to downtown Petosky, and steps form the lake and the Little Travers Wheel Way. I would recommend this property.

My husband and I stayed here for our first visit to Petoskey. We arrived late afternoon and unloaded our things and headed into town on foot. Within 7-10 minutes we were seated at a lovely restaurant.The location is perfect as it’s just a short walk into town; a block and a half to the bike rental; and steps to the bike path and trail that runs along the lake, marina and into town.We found the accommodations very comfortable and impeccably clean. Diana was always quickly responsive when I reached out with questions. We can’t wait to return to Petoskey and would not hesitate to stay here again!

Small but has everything a couple could want in a short stay property. Beautifully decorated and excellent customer service by property manager. Right on US 131 so expect some road noise but it did not bother us.

This is a beautifully done space. Everything is executed to perfection. It is spacious and very comfortable. It is conveniently located near downtown and the Wheelway. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The house is, however, on a main road and the traffic can be loud much of the time. But overall I had a wonderful stay and would enthusiastically recommend.

The upstairs apartment was definitely as advertised. Its located above the office of a custom home builder/restorer which is clearly the owner as evident by the creativity and new/cleanliness of all the fixtures. The road noise was inconsequential (we noticed someone else mmentioned it in a prior review though it was negligible). About a 5 min walk from downtown, we would definitely stay again.

Architectural enthusiasts will love all the attention to detail and design in this perfectly appointed space. Easy walk into downtown and over to the Little Traverse Bayfront parks. We love Petoskey and this space is a gem -)

The apartment is very clean and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and was in a very good location. It was perfect for our long weekend in Petoskey; a great home base for visiting the entire area.

Diana was great to work with and the location is close to town and the great restaurants and stores.
