Continue along the coast 100m to the sandy beach and foreshore with a kids playground and a grassy reserve for picnics. Nelson Bay boasts a multitude of shops, great cafes, award-winning restaurants and fun activities and it's all within walking distance of your holiday apartment.

This spacious, lift-accessed apartment is one of the most modern and well-appointed properties in the Nelson Bay area, offering ducted air-conditioning throughout, with 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large well-equipped kitchen, internal laundry facilities, multiple balconies including a private area, and secure parking for 2 vehicles in the complex's underground garage.

Each of the 5 comfortable bedrooms have been tastefully decorated and feature built-in robes. A queen bed features in 4 of the bedrooms, with the master bedroom also offering balcony access and a private ensuite bathroom with glass shower and toilet. Two of the other queen bedrooms also have access to the balcony. The fifth bedroom is ideal for the kids with a bunk bed and a flat screen TV, DVD, CD player and a Playstation 3 (BYO games). The main bathroom comes with an enormous bath (please note spa bath out of action, use as bathtub only), glass shower and toilet, and the internal laundry offers a washing machine and dryer.

- External works on the complex roof will be running from Start of October to Early December some noise may occur

    beautiful place cleanliness was on parclose to vicinity the only issue was immediate transfer of security bond BUT took more than 14 days to process refund. Other property's take 48hrs prior n refund within 5 business days

    We were a group of golfers and we had a very pleasant stay at Unit 13, Dolphin Cove. When staying in this apartment, do take basic provisions. If not, there is a supermarket a block away.

    The property is accessible to the beach and local stores and cafes. It was well lit. We enjoyed the stay. Please inform future visitors that soap, shampoo and conditioners are BYO.

    Nice big place except you have to make your own beds upon arrival. And the spa hasn't been working for the last few years I have been using the room on an annual trip. Thought it would be fixed by now. Nothing for us to clean up dishes like sponges and washing detergent. Not much bog roll. Also the bbq wasn't really clean either. Good view though and good location.

    Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked this place as an ideal pad for a group of mature gents needing some respite from family life. Booking & key pick up was easy.Upon arrival we discovered there weren't any bed sheets and one room even had a dirty set shoved in the cupboard. By this time it was after office hours and it took a number of phone calls to reach someone, who in turn contacted the cleaner who dropped off a big bag of clean laundry and we had to make the beds ourselves.It's quite a large apartment, plenty of space for what we wanted. There does need to be some money spent on the place (missing/broken vertical blinds, water damage, spa not working (but to be fair, we were forewarned), but overall it was comfortable.Pros:* Spacious* Kitchen well (enough) appointed* Easy key pickup/drop off and onsite parking* Air conditioned* Easy walk to pretty much anything (shops/cafes etc)Cons:* One roll of bogroll per bathroom (it's not 2020 anymore!) - not a cost thing, just inconvenient.* No linen upon arrival* BBQ area is right next to the adjacent unit's outdoor area and not terribly well screened.

    An issue with the bathroom door that was faulty. Annoying not having basic things in the apartment like a bin, bin liners, cleaning products to clean bbq etc if they have to be done by the guest who is only there two nights.
