Diana was very welcoming and we enjoyed her welcome food she shared with us. The studio have everything we need to have a comfortable stay. There’s no TV but didn’t bother us, we had our iPad to keep up with the Olympic games. Location is great and close to pretty much everything. Parking was great!

We enjoyed the location, like staying in a garden. The plants and wildlife were a pleasure. We wished the kitchen was set up a little better, maybe some paper towels, cooking oil and a nonstick pan to work with.

Diana found me a place when I had no water at my house. And it was a clean, nicely appointed place in the heart of town

we enjoyed our stay here. It's very cute and comfortable. Off street parking is a plus. The nightly chorus of frogs was enjoyable. We would stay again.

Overall, this was a great stay. This yard surrounding this property is definitely very tropical feeling. Hilo had some rain around the time we were there, so the tile floors were a touch damp (not a slip hazard by any means), but turning on the fan dried things out nicely. There are also a few little bugs, but nothing that could be helped by anyone on the island that doesn't have a/c, so you'd expect to see it in most vacation rentals on a site like this. They fit through the screens. They really weren't a bother, but just something to prepare for on your island stay, especially when you're staying near fruiting trees/plants. We arrived after dark, so I was a bit unsure about where to go, but just follow the carport up past the airstream and you'll see the little cottage tucked away. The response time from our host was fantastic with helping us figure that out and also for the duration of our stay. The shower was very nice with good water pressure and warm water. The coqui frogs were a pleasant dream to fall asleep to (even though they're invasive), but if that's not for you, bring ear plugs or a little white noise machine. We saw some geckos around the property too. I'd happily stay here again :)

Mel was incredible! There was a mix-up in where I was staying. Mel went over to the property at night to sort it out, which she did.

Even though it is in the middle of a residential area and not far from many shops and restaurants, it really was like staying in a little jungle! Diana was super- accomodating and had a lot of helpful advice about things to do and places to go. And the fruit she grows on the property is beyond amazing.
