Stayed Aug 2, 2025The place was clean, accommodating, and relaxing. We enjoyed the patio watching the various ships pass by. Bad Salzig is a couple miles away from the center of Balzig. An easy free train ride, or lovely walk along the river, but heads up. Bad Salzig itself is sleepy and closed. We had a beautiful unexpected hike to the nearest Aldi. (We were beholden to public transportation on our trip). The owner was lovely and tolerated our lack of German.

Stayed Sep 5, 2024Everything was ok. Idea: give some instructions on how to seperate and dispose of garbage. And add a light on the terrace to enjoy evenings outside.
