In the house: storage room for skis, central heating system. Motor access to 150 m from the house. 100 m stepped path (52 steps) to the house. Supermarket 450 m, restaurant 550 m, bakery 650 m, 20 minute walk to the centre, bus stop Spiss 150 m, railway station Bahnhof Zermatt 650 m. Mountain railway 650 m, ski rental 650 m, ski bus stop 150 m, ski school 1 km, children's ski school 1 km. Please note: no lift. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt.

Exit to the balcony, south facing position. 1 double bedroom with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, freezer, electric coffee machine, combination microwave). Shower/WC. Heating. Parquet floors.     We stayed in this property for four nights with three family members. Pro’s - the deck has a near perfect view of the Matterhorn when it is visible - The deck is large and roomy - the apartment is first class with plenty of room and great amenities - Interhome does a wonderful job communicating with us with any needs we may have had - Amazing view of the city of Zermatt and the surrounding valley - Con’s - After getting off the train it is quite a walk to the apartment. Mostly level along the river but still a bit of a jaunt - The description is correct and there are quite a few steps to get to the apartment - This was made clear to us in the description so was not a surprise to us but you need to be aware of this prior to lugging luggage - It is a bit of a walk to the downtown area and groceries. Again we knew this due to prior reviews and the clear expectations set in the site description. Would we stay here again? Based on the overall balance of pro’s and con’s we would stay here again. We just may be a bit more prepared on negotiating some of the con’s of the apartment but I gave it a 5 for a reason! It is a very nice place with plenty of room. If I was staying for just a night or two maybe something a bit closer to the train station or downtown but for us it was near perfect. Great place!

    Die Wohnung ist neuer renoviert sehr schön, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Zugang braucht etwas Kondition da das Haus höher gelegen. Tip für Skifahrer: am besten Ski und Schuhe bei der Talstation deponieren.

    Sehr schöne, gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Sehr bequeme Betten! Grosse Küche und Wohnzimmer. Sehr gut geeignet für Familie mit größeren Kindern.
