We can only agree with the positive reviews; Veruska was always very helpful. And when the coffee machine ran out of coffee despite ample supplies, she provided us with more capsules.

Very nice accommodations in Rome and the host was easy to communicate with.

Good property near attractions.

Very nice and clean. Updated. Excellent air conditioning in both the bedroom and main living area. Two TVs and a good washing machine (no dryer, but those are almost impossible to find in Italy.) It is in an authentic Roman neighborhood with restaurants, groceries, shopping, and gelato nearby. It is a bit of a walk to the main tourist sites of Rome but we didn’t mind because the noise and congestion of those areas can be overwhelming. Veruska is a great host with excellent communication.

We would definitely booked these apartment again if we ever returned to Rome, it was clean and carried all the essentials.The host was very kind and accommodating and the area was very lively and close to some beautiful sites.

Great location with all amenities

This is a beautiful, quiet apartment in a great Rome neighborhood. It had everything we needed and we especially appreciated the comfy bed. There were shops and good restaurants nearby. We also discovered how easy the bus system is, and there are 2 stops nearby.

The property was so clean and was a welcomed bit of luxury after six weeks of travel. Loved its location with a walk to the bustle of Trastavere but also access to the local and laid back vibe of Testaccio. Great shops and eating close by. Would definitely stay here again. Our host was wonderful and fantastically helpful.

Very nice clean apartment with all you could want for as a base to explore Rome. It was fun to be in a mainly residential area of the city with a good range of local shops and restaurants within easy walking distance, and to see how todays Romans live as well as the ancients.However, you should note that your website shows the property in the wrong location - it is on Via Marmorata.

Perfect location to all things in Rome. Pizza next door was great. So much better to stay here than in a hotel. Made it Italian style stay in Rome Italy. Thanks for the Bisco cookies, and the coffee. Bed was awesome and could not be a better place to stay in Italy.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The apartment was super cute, had excellent air conditioning (much needed during our mid August visit!), the bed was very comfortable and the towels were thick and luxurious. They also had a Nespresso machine which was a nice bonus. The bathroom was a little tight for 2, but it is Rome! We were out and about a lot but enjoyed our limited time at the property very much.

Awesome apartment central to many local eateries within walking distance! There’s a great pizza place and restaurant next door - locals line up daily for the delicious food that are so reasonably priced! The apartment is clean and spacious; eventhough the bathroom is on the smaller side, we had enough room to be comfortable. We appreciated the complimentary espresso, bottled water, and the host’s great restaurant recommendations!

We visited Rime in July for the first time. At first when dropped off by our driver, I thought I'd made a mistake. After walking around town, to dinner that night and seeing the true essence of this location did we truly appreciate it. 5 stars all around, thanks for the memories!

Host Vera was very helpful. Her house is super clean. Building is very safe. You use 3 keys practically to enter your apartment. She has everything necessary for all your needs inside the apartment.

The apartment was beautiful and very well secured. The courtyard in the interior of the building was beautiful and even has an enormous apricot tree! Communication with host was excellent, she even provided helpful tips on transportation, nearby restaurants, etc. We took her advice on several things and were impressed each time. It was extremely hot when we visited and the air conditioner worked beautifully. We walked to almost all of the main sights of Rome, and across the river to Trastavere several times. This location near Trastavere is great - we found the restaurants there to be more authentic and significantly less expensive than other parts of the city (as in, less than half the price). That neighborhood is quite scenic as well. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Book it before someone else does!

What a Gem, perfect location, wonderful neighborhood, excellent host! Our first time in Roma,If/when we return this where we will stay. Charming doesn’t half say it. This might not be a big deal to some but the bath towels were soft and luxurious. Air conditioning perfect. Appointments perfect. Oh and at the end of a long day, bring back pizza, salad a bottle (or two) of great wine and…

An excellent base for a couple wanting to explore Testaccio and beyond. Vera provides excellent advice, especially about where to eat and purchase supplies.

This area was a selective choice for us as we wanted to explore a different area of Rome. It didn’t disappoint. Great apartment, quiet and comfortable as described. Enjoyed the local eateries.

Apartment is a couple blocks away from heavy crowding, but close enough to walk anywhere you want to go. Vera helped us with everything we needed, provided recommendations for travel to and from the airport, etc. No complaints at all from us. We loved our stay!

Centrally located for day trips around the city in an area surrounded by authentic Italian restaurants. Apartment spotlessly clean and decorated. Vera a wonderful hostess with a notebook full of tips and resources to make our Rome adventure easy to navigate. Highly recommend.

Our four nights at the apartment were wonderful. Vera was easy to communicate with prior to our arrival and met us right when we arrived. The apartment is in a non-tourist area which was nice to explore. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom, while small like most in Europe, was renovated and very nice. Because the flat is south of most atttractions, we took a taxi to our furthest starting point every morning and walked the rest of the day, eventually reaching Trastevere for dinner and walking home afterward. It was very safe.

We loved having so much choice of food nearby. The Testacchio market, supermarkets, osteria, ristorante so nearby. Close to tourist attractions but locale residential area. Veruska was very helpful and accommodating.

Veruska made communications easy and met us at the address with a lovely bottle of water as we were parched after our flights.Interior design and decorating were very good. Close to bus and tram, nice quieter less touristy area.We’ll be back.This apartment is well deserving of its very high ranking on VRBO.

The apartment is very well situated in a less touristy, more authentic part of Rome. It's surrounded by good local restaurants, bakeries and food shops. We spent the week walking around the city, but if we got tired it was very easy to catch a bus from almost anywhere in Rome which would stop outside the apartment. For such a well situated place it was very quiet, and we slept very well. Veruska was very helpful and waited for us even though our plane was quite late arriving. A great week spent in a lovely place. Thank you

Just outside tourist zones but public transportation greatly available. Local and authentic eateries at all price points within a block or two. Very quiet as windows and doors are interior to a courtyard. Apartment extremely clean and bright and perfectly sized for two. Host very communicative and gave great recommendations. Pleasantly supplied with coffee, kitchen equipment, bath needs. Bed was very comfortable and no noise from any neighbor. We felt very safe and secure. We will stay here when we return. Highly recommended.

This was a great place to stay while we explored Rome. Access to the excellent local bus service was easy, and the variety of restaurants in the area was appreciated when we returned in the evening after a long day of touring. The apartment was quiet, well appointed and the bed very comfortable.

The newly renovated appartment is very conveniently licated at the Tiber. Walking distance (15 min) to many of the Main attractions. Vera has been very acommodating and flexible. 5 stars in any im nsion!

Vera, our host, was very accommodating and extremely customer centric in all of her interactions with us. The apartment is so quiet, with a beautiful courtyard view. We had a perfect 3 day stay. Veruska was very responsive and we were able to check in early. Testaccio has a nice older neighborhood feel with lots of good nearby restaurants. We definitely recommend this apartment and location.

We loved the apartment. It had all we needed. Vera was very responsive prior to us arriving and met us at the unit when we got into town. Our favorite part of the stay was the location. There were so many great local restaurants within short walking distance, we never left the area for dinner. It was too good nearby.

Overall a wonderful stay. Veruska (Vera) was quick to answer any questions we had before and during our stay and provided countless helpful pointers about nearby restaurants, museums, shopping etc. She even hand delivered a new coffee machine when the original stopped working! We had been to Rome once before and enjoyed this venue as it was close to many parts of the city we had not been able to see before. Apparently plans are underway for an extensive upgrade tot he exterior and courtyard of the building which will only serve to make the apartment more desirable. Did I mention that the best pizzeria in all of Rome was immediately outside the building?

Veruska was a friendly and responsive host. The appartment itself was located away from the main attractions, which is exactly what we were looking for. Testaccio still is a working class neighbourhood with plenty of amazing, affordable local restaurants, a central market that is a 5 minute walk away and is teaming with life. It's quiet when you go to sleep and teaming with life in the morning. We absolutely loved it. If you want to experience Rome without feeling like you are just another tourist I can't recommend the area and the apartment enough. Walking to major attractions ranges anywhere from 25 to 50 minutes, there's a bus/tram in front the building that can take you to the metro if you want. We walked A LOT but that's what we like to do. When we were too tired we used uber and had no issues. The major selling point for this place is it's location if you want something more authentic. The restaurants, the people, just the whole vibe was perfect for us.

This was one of the best experiences we’ve had with a rental. Veruska met us at check-in and gave us a tour of the property. It was extremely clean and she provided essentials for the first day like water and coffee. It was very much appreciated. This was a 5 star stay! Thank you!

The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated, and wonderfully air conditioned. It was the perfect place to come back to after a morning or evening of sightseeing and exploring Rome’s many sights. I cannot say enough about the owner - there was a small leak in the bathroom and it was fixed the next morning. The owner was responsive and very kind and thoughtful. Would absolutely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property, I stayed three nights with my two boys, 8 abd 12. We were met with such warm welcome by Veruska. The property is conveniently located. We walked almost everywhere. There are several amazing restaurant around the neighborhood. I like that the property has two air conditioning. You definitely need that in the summer time. Veruska, the owner is si responsive, we lost our internet connection after our first night. She quickly worked to resolve it the next day. Few observation, I was reluctant at first regarding tue safety of the neighborhood. Outside of the property looks rundown, I was little bit worried if it was going to be safe to walking around at night. To my surprise, it was fine, there is busy restaurant next door in the evening, so there was no problem walking around at night. Bedroom: The main king size bed was comfortable, however, the twin bed provided, according my oldest was unconformable. He couldnt sleep so we need on one bed. I definitely will would rent this place again the next time I am in Rome.
