Stayed Dec 31, 1969Lion Square Lodge is a great stay in Vail/Lions head! Just at the base of the gondola and very well kept. Staff is courteous and its easy to book through Vacasa.

Stayed Feb 13, 2022Convenient location to the gondola, shops, restaurants, and ski rentals. Hot tubs were nice and it was good there was more than one. There was daily towel service like other hotels.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This unit has a great location. It is close to the Lionshead Gondola yet still away from the crowds. I love that you can just walk outside and enjoy the mountain views! The room is more of a hotel room with just a microwave (not great) and a very small refrig. However, we didn't plan on cooking so it wasn't an issue for us. The coffee maker should be better though. We opted to go to the lobby to get coffee each morning. We had planned to just buy some good coffee to make in the room, but the coffee maker wasn't nice enough to even bother. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but after seeing a few other units while they were being cleaned, we would opt to stay in one of those. This unit could use a few nicer touches that wouldn't cost much... such as the coffee maker, a nicer microwave & refrig., a better shower curtain, even a better furniture arrangement compared to the other units we saw. As for the lodge as a whole, we would stay here again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The room was well furnished and comfortable. The best part was walking out of the door to sit on the patio and listening to Gore Creek and enjoying the beautiful flowers.
