DC Dwtn Apt. w/ Modern Interior

Rental was in a great location in DC. Parking easy to find BUT the bed was FULL size and close to the wall. My husband is over 6' tall, not very comfortable. Size not listed description. Also, NO remote for the roku tv. We were able to find an app to download to use to use the tv. The thermostat did not work, lucky there was a electric fireplace. Pillow were not great - definitely needed pillow protectors on the pillows with the pillowcases. No hand soap - empty. Light over sink didnt work. Leftovers left in refrigerator, only one wash cloth, tub didn't drain and had to rewash the dishes before we used them. It would also have been helpful if there was a property booklet showing what we needed to do the checkout, local restaurants, etc. We would not rent this place again. Also, where is the hot tub that was mention in the listing and the road noise and people walking along the sidewalk late at night loud.

Brilliantly situated, just five minutes' walk from U street green and yellow line station in a lively area, but the apartment is very quiet.

The neighbor was not family friendly. While it is close to the metro, it was less than ideal for a family. The listing said there was a hot tub, but after inquiring about it we were told that was an error with the listing. We picked this place as it had a kitchen and basic supplies; however, there wasn’t even salt and pepper nor any ice trays. The bathroom door did not latch, the tub had a slow drain thus anytime taking a shower resulted in standing in three inches of water. No bathroom vent so showers added a lot of humidity to the air. While it seems decent during the day, there is a very active nightlife around there and I was so incredibly thankful I took a white noise machine just to get some rest throughout the night.

Very convenient to Metro and Capital.

While the on street parking might be tricky at times, we had no trouble getting a space right at the apartment - and once parked, most anywhere you want to go is walkable or accessible by mass transit. The neighborhood has cafes, parks, restaurants, anything you'd need for a stay. nei
