Vrbo is located at a remote area where nature resides and have an amazing view. The host was amazing, showed us what the Vrbo has to offer like a hot tub, pool table and fireplace. There was also an outdoor pool which cooled us off during the summer! Will come back again, no doubt about it!

I enjoyed every aspect of this place. The hot tub in the room was amazing! The pool was very refreshing. The bar was a nice touch. The bed was very comfy. The sheets smelled really good. The communication was great. We already booked another weekend.

A Hidden Gem with everything you need! Less than 20 minutes drive to Mohegan Sun Casino, Shopping, Bars, and Restaurants. You will not be disappointed with your stay. The property overlooks a beautiful multi-acred landscape with breathtaking views throughout the day. During your stay, you’ll have access to a wonderful outdoor patio, large in-ground swimming pool and a full barbecue to enjoy a romantic dinner under the stars or nice lunch in the afternoon sun. The host was professional, friendly and helped make our stay even more fantastic by providing privacy, amazing amenities, great conversation and exceptional service. This location has everything you could ask for in a private romantic getaway or personal retreat away from the noise of everyday life: phenomenal service, amazing views, rustic leather furniture, wood burning fireplace, full sized private bar with sink, in-room hot tub, antique billiards table and bar features, fully controllable light dimming system, private entry and walking path, WiFi, flat screen tv, and so much more! I highly recommend staying here for the property and the host, 10/10 stars.

Very welcoming and cozy

What a beautiful piece of property. The only thing that could’ve made it better, would be fall or summer. Even on the foggy day the view was spectacular. What a great place.

We went to this property during the winter. The fireplace and hot tub were delightful as was the pool table. Would definitely love to check it out during the warmer months. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Al was a great host

It was a very nice room with an amazing view. The host was very nice and provided enough extras that make stay even better. Would recommend the room and hope to make an additional trip to enjoy the room in the warmer weather to enjoy sitting outside.

This property in Montville, Connecticut, was the perfect getaway for us. We had high expectations based on the photos and reviews, but it turned out to be even better than we imagined. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and at peace.The views were absolutely stunning, and the home was so comfortable and private that we didn’t feel the need to leave for anything. We especially loved the indoor hot tub—it was such a treat! Having a fire going most of the time added to the cozy atmosphere, and the host, Al, was amazing. He was incredibly responsive and always happy to help, even bringing us more firewood whenever we needed it.We also enjoyed the entertainment options—playing pool and board games made our stay even more fun. Overall, it was one of the most relaxing getaways I’ve ever had. Five stars all the way.We’ll certainly be back—this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a home rental. Thank you, Al, for making it so special!

The owner was incredibly nice someone you can relate to immediately. The Jacuzzi the fireplace made it for a great getaway

My husband and I were celebrating 50 years of loving each other and this hideaway was everything we hoped for. We were greeted by Al and his sweet dog Nico. Everything was well prepped and so very comfortable. Foliage was nearly peak and the vistas from the stone patio were beautiful. Al is an interesting and sweet gentleman who gave us good recommendations for breakfast and dinner in town. We highly recommend The Shack for Breakfast and Flanders for seafood; both in nearby East Lyme. Al presented us with a lovely bottle of champagne to add to our celebration. This is a perfect location for anyone looking to resign from the world without distractions. An additional positive for us was we traveled by ferry from Long Island and this property is a short and easy drive from the New London ferry landing. We will be sure to return!

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and this rental could not have been better suited to that. Even though the owner lives on the same property, we had complete privacy. The views are spectacular - we lived having morning coffee outside our door watching birds and chipmunks playing around us. After that, it was a short drive to many attractions including Foxwoods Resort and Casino. Highly recommend this for a getaway for any couple.

The hubby and I share a bday and chose this rental. We had plans to visit local spots but could not part with how breathtaking just spending time here was. We loved how private it was even with the host/owner on site. We met the owner at check in and after a helpful walk through he all but disappeared. It felt very remote and private and exactly what we wanted. The home itself is stunning. The property is well maintained and the views are breathtaking. We left hoping to return very soon. Highly recommend for anyone!! It is exactly as pictured and is truly a piece of perfection. You will not be disappointed to spend a special day weekend or relaxing getaway here.
