Stayed Jan 31, 2026This is our second time staying here. We have a local ski race that we participate in so this is very handy to the ski slopes. Host is great and very accommodating. There is coffee that my husband appreciates!

Stayed Feb 1, 2025My family needed a pet friend place to stay for a ski race weekend at Schuss Shanty. This place popped up and was just what we needed. The check in process was a breeze, the room was exactly as pictured, and we really appreciated the cute coffees laid out. My kids definitely liked the sugar cubes! We really were not in the room that much since we where there for a race. Our dog is old and seasoned and had no issues staying in the room. We walked her around the area with ease as well. The locations is set in almost a resort set up with smaller less traveled roads we could walk around but we didn’t get to explore much given our short stay. Sherry was great to work with and allowed us to extend so we didn’t have to take our dog to the slopes with us. All in all a really easy and great experience.
