Stayed Jun 20, 2024Other than the pictures making this look like a main floor apartment/house and not the basement that it was the place seemed nice enough. Plenty of space but very low ceilings that my boyfriend and brother (over 6ft) complained about. The real problem was the plumbing. At first it was minor, had to turn the shower almost off to get any water cool enough to not hurt you. Then we noticed the smell, we thought maybe the people above us just had interesting cooking habits but when the same smell occured for 3 days morning and night we knew it had to be coming from somewhere else. A sour rotten smell that filled the entire place. Then on our 4th day the flood happened, 11 am water started coming out of the wall between the shower and laundry. I messaged and called the host without response. We eventually had to leave for the reunion we were in town for. I called again at the reunion and finally got an answer. I was told this usually happens when the up stairs unit runs the shower for to long (which would indicate to me there is a waste line leak that they are aware of) and to send a picture when we get back. 4 hours later I do that. No response. An hour later my boyfriend tried to flush the toilet and suddenly the tank starts running but it won't flush. Now the toilet is overflowing everywhere and won't shut off. I call the host again and demand they come out there. They removed the toilet and snaked the drain for over 6 hours (past midnight). They refused to refund us anything.

Stayed Jun 10, 2024The property was kept very clean and it was apparent that Eunice took pride in her property and gave it a little extra attention to make it a very enjoyable stay. Thanks Eunice.
