Communication with property owner was great. Price was great. Short drive to Worlds of Fun park. Everything was clean and tidy. Loved the neighborhood! It was quiet, clean, low traffic, lots of beautiful mature trees, cute well-kept homes. It was perfect for our little weekend family trip.

We had an amazing stay! The place was clean, and comfortable with plenty of room for my family of four. It was well stocked with necessities, and that couch is amazing! Sara is so very accommodating and responsive to messages. We had a late baseball game and she let us come back after check out to get our things out of the fridge. The washer dryer combo was a life saver! I also left my purse there and she was so sweet about hanging on to it until I could get back to pick it up. Absolutely recommend this place and will stay again!

This was a nice basement apartment - perfect for us as a small family. It was clean and had everything we needed. Easy to find restaurants nearby and great shopping.

We stayed at this property for two nights with our two teenagers over Thanksgiving week. We really wanted to like the property because it’s close to our family who lives in Kansas City. However, I feel like the listing and the communication was misleading from the property owner. We were told it would just be her and her family in the home while we were staying there. But the first night there was a lot of banging around and stomping above us after 11 PM. We couldn’t sleep. I even moved out to the couch because it was so loud and then heard the people above us again at 2 AM. Sara told me in a message that it was other tenants and at one point she said they were trying to get their kids to sleep, but she was not on the premise. Nowhere in the listing does it tell you that the upstairs is also a rental. That would have made a difference for us. The other downside is that you don’t control the heat or air in your space. There’s no thermostat. You have to text Sara to do something with it. That was really inconvenient for us as we like certain temperature during the day but a different temperature at night and have to adjust it based on how it feels in the space. The place was pretty clean, but it is definitely an unfinished basement in some parts.

This was our first time renting through VRBO, and our host was phenomenal. I asked a lot of questions and she patiently answered all of them. She even allowed us to add two more guests to our stay. After allowing us to add a guest, she even offered to have a blowup mattress available. When we walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The pictures do not do this place justice. It was so much more than I expected. The entire space was super clean, the kitchen area was great for preparing all our meals, the living room had a couch big enough for all of us to sit, the bedroom had a king sized bed, and it came with a cool washer/dryer unit that was great to keep us going for the week we were there. This home is located in a safe neighborhood and is close to shopping. I cannot recommend this rental enough. It was a wonderful experience with the host, location and amenities were so much more than I expected, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Five Stars for sure!
