Cozy get away at Captain’s Landing

This place is so quiet with a spectacular view. The host was very gracious. The apartment had everything we needed. The apartment decor was designed to share the owners love. Soaking in the hot tub each night watching the sunset over the lake was so relaxing. We did venture to the Granbury downtown square. Many cute shops and places to eat. We would definitely return.

Great little weekend getaway! Ilene set the hot tub for us & we enjoyed the beautiful lake from inside the hot tub. Beautiful location

Gorgeous lake view. Very peaceful environment. Enjoyed a cup of coffee early in the morning and watched the fish jump and majestic herons flying and resting nearby. Then, if that wasn't enough, Pumpkin the cat would come by for a visit and we would just hang out and enjoy the nature.

Ilene was gracious, kind, helpful. We loved enjoyed the outdoors, porch and chairs with lake view. We were busy with the festival and didn’t use the pool or hot tub. The king bed was very comfortable, the property was quiet with no distracting or disturbing neighbors, it was prefect for our get away. The only thing we’d do differently next time is stay longer. I recommend the Captains Landing!

Absolutely perfect getaway!This place did not disappoint. My husband and I had a wonderful stay with breathtaking views. We especially loved having our morning coffee while watching the sunrise from the private deck—such a peaceful start to the day. The pool and grounds were beautifully maintained, and Ilene is a fabulous host—welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was everything we needed and more. Ilene was incredibly kind—she even surprised us with a wedding gift! The home is absolutely adorable, and the views of the lake are some of the best we’ve ever seen. The deck is elevated, giving you a peaceful, panoramic view, and the many windows make you feel surrounded by nature even from inside.We loved the privacy of the detached room next to the pool—it felt like our own little retreat. The whole place gave us space to rest, recharge, and reflect on how good God has been to us.Thank you, Ilene, for creating such a peaceful and welcoming space. We truly felt the Lord’s presence here and are leaving refreshed and grateful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene getaway!

It is as advertised. Quiet property overlooking Lake Granbury. Watch from the deck, from the hot tub or the tranquility of the pool. We WILL be back. Highly recommended.

We had a terrific time during our weekend in Granbury. The host was welcoming and helpful. The apartment was clean, comfortable and completely adorable! Highly recommend enjoying this place. But please, take good care of it because we will be returning soon :)

This place is perfect. We were looking for a comfortable stay that we would spend the whole weekend at. The view is amazing everywhere; the hot tub, heated pool, dock, gazebo, and balcony. The bed and pillows are so comfortable, the sheets and towels are soft. It exceeded expectations, 10/10 will definitely be staying again
