Bristol, Tennessee
Summary:
Hosted by The Sanctuary Co. This apartment is near downtown Bristol. Bristol is a city that always has something going on, and our home is just down the street from all the events and restaurants you'll find downtown. Our space is super functional with a nice full kitchen, living room with smart tv, and two bedrooms so there's plenty of room to spread out and relax.
The Space:
This apartment is part of a converted home divided into 3 living spaces but each of them has separate entrances, so things feel very private. We love a clean and organized home so you'll find useful things where you need them! Soft towels and bedding, nice soaps, and all the essential kitchen supplies for whatever culinary adventures you have in mind.
Guest Access:
Your private entrance is at the front porch. A keypad lets you come and go as you please!
The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is safe and eclectic. It is also less than a mile from State Street, which is the downtown strip of Bristol. This street straddles the line of TN & VA.
Getting Around:
The easiest way to get around is by car, but you could certainly walk downtown! It's less than a mile, or about 15 minutes at a leisurely pace.
Interaction with Guests:
We like to give our guests their privacy but we can be there for you when you need help. We provide self check-in for your convenience.
The property is really cozy and very welcoming.
I absolutely loved everything about this property. I brought my mom here and she loved it as well. The walls are thin so you can hear every word and noise. I will definitely be booking again!!
Loved the cozy quiet area of town. Was close to stores and not to far from the speedway. Extremely clean. They even provide toiletries, shampoos body wash. Condiments in the fridge. My only complaint is the communication or lack of. Although we didn't have issues while there I emailed a few times and still says later have not received a response. Other than that it was a great place to stay
While this would be great if it was a little house on its own bc it is comfy and cozy, but unfortunately it’s not a house on its own. It is in a home that’s been converted into four units. The walls are PAPER THIN. I’m not kidding, could hear word for word convos with the people who share a wall with the twin bed room and then the entire place, especially the main bedroom, can hear every little footstep and thing from the people above you. This listing might have quite hours, but no one follows them. People coming and going 10PM to 3AM and up walking about in and out, washing clothes at 11:30PM, and maybe taking a clogging class from the sound of it. If you planned this for a quick stay, it’s fine, bring earplugs, even that might not help, but if more than one night, good luck. If you want any sleep, stay somewhere else.
Not too bad of a little house for a quick overnight stay. The pictures do the place justice. We arrived after dark and in the rain. There needs to be a sidewalk from the back parking area to the front door for apt. #2. The front steps could be a safety issue. They have no railing and are short. The first thing we saw in the bedroom was a spider web and a spider. We used the vacuum cleaner to rid that issue! The place is nice and clean. It could use some touch up paint on certain areas. I'm not a very particular person about my stay in places but these are just some ideas of possible improvements. The satellite picture of the place should be changed because it shows a couch on the sidewalk in front of the place. Thanks!
Perfect location. Easy walk to downtown, quiet neighborhood. The place was adorable and had everything we needed and more! Would definitely stay there again.
Everything about our stay was top notch. My only recommendation would be handrails for the front steps. My husband and I are disabled and steps are hard to maneuver. Other than that, everything was perfect! We will be back!
Overnight for travel, the room was perfect
Cute little place with many amenities you would need for quick overnight or weekend stay. It was very clean and near the main thoroughfare.
It was a one night stay. We arrived at 9:30 pm. So it was kind of dark, navigating across the grass onto the walkway to the steps. The steps going into the house were steep and kind of difficult for my old lady legs. I'm 68, and my hubby is 70. We take good care of each other, so we helped each other up the steps. Im sure it isn't so bad for folks younger. Since everything else was perfect. Maybe a railing is in store for that beautiful property.
The ow we is a star at hospitality! It was cozy and oh so clean and fresh! Thanks for a great sleep in Bristol!
Our family stayed here for one night as part of a longer road trip. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and was a great alternative to a hotel room. It was easy to get around from here and it was nice to have off street parking.
The people upstairs would be walking all through the night or they would drop stuff. Then around 4:00 am they would be coming down the stairs. The place could have been really great, but we stayed for 7 days and got very little sleep.
Property as described. Well thought out by host. Great location to see State St and all Bristol offers!
We are senior couple who spent a weekend. We rode the Virginia Creeper trail and saw play at Barter Theatre, each about twenty miles away. House is in quiet, well maintained older neighborhood.convenient for our bike ride and theatre.
