Nice area, Metro right there, excellent hosts, nicely furnished, trivial to the overall experience, a bit of deferred maintenance here and there. All in all just fine.

Bucket list item for my husband to visit National Museum of the Bible. Found House on a Hill and were thrilled! Our hosts were helpful and accommodating. The most thoughtful and generous hosts we’ve encountered on our trips. Extremely convenient to local transportation. We are most grateful.

Teri and Quenten are the best hosts we have ever had! They made sure everything was as smooth and comfortable as possible. They also recommended some delicious restaurants and ice cream shops. They are both very friendly, wonderful hosts. They made sure we had everything stocked and ready for our week. We highly recommend staying with these two and enjoying your stay in DC knowing you will have a safe, clean space to come back too.

Quenton and Teri went above and beyond to provide all of the comforts of home, from coffee to snacks, towels to toiletries, even a washer/dryer and cold beverages upon arrival. The apartment is conveniently located directly across the street to the Metro, which made navigating the city extremely convenient. We highly recommend this oasis in DC!

Clean and cozy property with many thoughtful amenities. You just can't beat the the location, right across from the Metro station.

Comfortable & cozy. Right across from the metro rail & bus stops. Just parked our car on the parking pad then used the convenient public transportation system for our entire stay. The property owners were very nice and helpful.

My wife and I cannot say enough positive things about the property. Extremely cozy, clean, great climate control and - above all - the location is amazing. Set out from downtown DC, it is right across the street from a Metro subway stop. I’m 65 years old and I can literally throw a rock when exiting the station.and hit the side of the rental!! And no noise from the Metro, either. When we go back to DC, we both agree this is exactly where we will stay. It’s NOT necessary for us to look for another stay spot in the District of Columbia - EVER. Thanks to our wonderful hosts!!

We enjoyed our stay. The Location was great,the apartment was nicely decorated and clean. The host was very helpful. Great place to stay if you want to tour DC and surrounding area. Oh yes - the snacks were great!!

The owners made this place a cute, cozy, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay. Great attention to detail from decor' throughout the rental, welcome snacks, basic toiletry needs, furniture layout was great, very appealing to the eye. Washer and dryer with detergent ready to use, bath towels and wash clothes, breakfast items ready to use, a great set up for relaxing, enjoying a meal, playing family games (they had a variety to choose from- Giant Sorry that my 7 year old son LOVED, Jenga, that my 7 and 11 year old played, tic tac toe, and several more that we did not get to). They had a waffle maker ready with pancake/waffle mix. We made delicious waffles as our first breakfast there. Full size fridge that allowed us to go grocery shopping to store items for the few days we were there. Stove/oven for cooking/baking needs, beautiful dining area with plenty of space for the family. They also included a personalized binder with information about themselves, recommendations for local restaurants, things to do around town, out of the touristy area, and shopping and such. Very well put together. It was across the street from the metro station and there was a cross walk at the sidewalk as soon as you left their driveway and the drivers were very polite giving us the right of way to cross. Highly recommend this rental. We did meet the owners in passing, a very sweet, kind couple. The neighbor nextdoor was very sweet and fun talk to and also gave recommendations for restaurants.

The apartment was clean and super convenient! We would definitely stay again.

Loved the location so near to the metro station, our feet appreciated it at the end of a long day of walking. We also appreciated the snacks and cold drinks in the fridge when we arrived. The washing machine was a great bonus!
