Cozy, Bright, Private Room

I enjoyed my stay here. The room is comfortable, cozy and quiet. The only problem was the refrigerator which is dreadfully loud, but the host gracefully agreed to turn it off before my arrival. I recommend this room, it suited all my needs.

Good place for the budget. Simple bed and shower for a short stay. It has some shops and restaurant nearby.

James and June were the best hosts! I forgot my laptop and blanket in the room & i couldnt afford to pay more money to uber or cab all the way back before my flight so they helped me! They didnt have to but they did it and I appreciated it so much. Thanks again for the stay! Love you both

The room was clean and comfortable. I felt safe and secure in a beautiful, well-maintained neighborhood. Host left clearly written instructions, and the room was well-stocked with various essentials. I enjoyed my stay and would happily stay again!

We had an excellent stay. Very quiet suite. Good size room for the price as well. Has a TV and was able to access something to watch. The appliance are okay. Bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

This is a fantastic place to stay. You have a private entry and the entire place to yourself. My only concern was the parking but even though I had to park on a busy street it was ok. I would absolutely come back.

IF YOU LIKE A CHEAP OWNER ! THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU. We stayed there because on the ad it said air conditioning ( THIS IS NOT TRUE ) It was over 35 when we entered the room, the only air wa coming from a little vent from the floor 2 x 5 and you couldn't feel anything, I got more air from opening the door to outside which in fact was very hot, old coffee with crumbs of I don't know what, only 2 pillows from the 1970 's extremely flat, old used soap that people had used. I had read the reviews that were good and now I know that he posted them. MY WORST PLACE EVER, I HAVE MANY PICTURES OF THIS NIGHTMARE PLACE BY THIS CHEAP OWNER !!!!

Owner's directions were super detailed and offered lots of hospitality for the residents renting his home. Totally recommend this to those visiting Canada!

the place is old and has a weird smell. the bathroom is right at the entrance, and the sink is so shallow that water splashes out when you wash your face , brush your teeth. The mattress is way too firmhowever, the shower works fine, and it's a quiet environment .

Very comfortable and cute room! Super close to bus and transportation making it only an hour to get downtown Vancouver which was perfect! Would definitely recommend for an affordable place and safe place to stay!

This place was cozy for sure. It was very comfortable and clean and James was very helpful with communicating everything that we needed to know. We are first time users of this platform and we’re very impressed with the accommodations.

Very clean room and property with all essential amenities and even non-essential. However, the entry and exit to this room is annoying and potentially unsafe. The lock beeps multiple times every time you enter or exit. The entry is into a bathroom that also acts as a bit of an airlock where one door must be closed before the other can be opened. Therefore, a speedy exit in an emergency could be challenging.

James is a wonderful host, always there to greet with A smile and a reserve spot on the street. Looks after the blinds outside when it gets a little warm air conditioning is always on when needed. There's a fan in the room. Perfect little spot if you're staying in Coquitlam or on a business

James' place is perfect! It was very clean and even more spacious than we expected. The mini fridge was quite large, and we made use of the microwave too. The house is in a very nice area and we always felt safe leaving our car parked out front on the street. James went above and beyond and sourced a steamer and iron for us. Overall, it was extremely well priced for the value we got from the property. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Vancouver :)

Clean, bright and quiet despite being next to a busier street. Sheets and bed were comfortable. It was nice having the big window that looked out onto back of property. Hosts are kind and respectful. Room is a good size and feels spacious yet cozy at the same time thanks to the high ceilings. Ample closet for shoes and clothing. Nice to have the fridge for storing left overs from meals. Only 5 minute drive from the HWY 1 and HWY 7. Good value for the price.

We are extremely happy with all of the above especially the area, as we were there for our grandsons’s hockey tournament. Minutes away from Planet Ice Rink Very impressed with James welcome when we arrived and, showing us how to work everything in the room. So cozy for us grandparents.Thank you James ( emote)

A comfy litte private area with its own access. Made coming and going a breeze. The fridge was nice for some early morning foodI recommend.

Communication with host was excellent. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. There was a coffeemaker and filters, but no coffee provided. The coffee maker was not cleaned from the previous guest, it had dried burnt coffee on the bottom. We had to soak it overnight with hand soap and hot water and it rinsed clean in the morning..There were teas available, just no coffee. There were also no teaspoons available. Since we were visiting from out of town it would have been nice to watch local news in the morning but there was no cable signal, just access to YouTube, etc.. In summary, our stay was decent, just a couple of minor things for the host to be a little more attentive about. We would recommend this room.for anyone visiting.

Clean and quiet. Plenty of on street parking on a fairly busy street on the front side of the house. Covered entrance into the bathroom which was nice as it never stopped raining while we were there allowing us to leave our wet gear outside. The bedroom is a room that would otherwise lead to a hallway of the main house so we felt we had to be overly quiet . Otherwise it was perfect stay. hawere

This couple was most hospitable and compassionate. They couldn’t do enough to help us and if we asked anything of them during our stay, they responded immediately to our requests.
