Cozy Apt w/Master BR + 2 Bed Kids Loft. Covered Parking/Deck/BBQ area & Firepit

Custom built to be used exclusively as a short term rental. It was handcrafted using tongue and groove pine milled here in Alabama. All of the oak and pine trim were milled in Virginia using my stepfather's personal sawmill with lumber harvested both from my property here in Alabama, and my families property in Virginia. Even the doordrawer pulls and switch plates were hand forged in PA by an Amish guy at his home forge in his basement.

**The space**
The living room has a 65 in RokuTV with premium channels and surround sound, and the couch is real aniline leather. You will also find a variety of board games to spend time with the family and get yourselves off the devices.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals. There's an oven, stove top, microwave, toaster, refrigerator with ice maker, and both a drip type and Keurig style coffee makers.

The master bedroom has a queen size captain's bed with a comfortable Nectar memory foam mattress, and two large drawers built in for your wardrobe. You'll also find a 42 Roku tv, also with premium channels. In the closet we provide a full size washer and dryer set, small ironing board and iron, and hangers for your clothing.

The kids loft is my favorite.
Every time I go up there it makes me feel like I'm a kid again. There are two twin size beds, each with its own power outlet. It's set up to feel like it's an old frontier jail house. The kids might even find the hidden door that allows them to spy on the guards down in the living room. With each bed containing a memory foam mattress, it's even comfortable enough for adults.

Each space has its own mini split type climate control system allowing different temperatures to be set throughout the apartment.

The large covered deck is a great place to enjoy your coffee in the morning or just relax in the evening.
Out back you will find a covered grilling area with a gas grill, outdoor kitchen, firepit, Adirondack chairs and outdoor games.

Oh yeah... can't forget the large covered parking area :-)

**Guest access**
Access to the apartment is gained from a 40' covered deck. The building is just outside Enterprise city limits in a beautiful country setting.

**Other things to note**
Apartment is accessed with four digit code which will be given to the guest prior to arrival. I am usually available to help at check in if requested, however guests may arrive after hours and access the apartment on their own...

This is a second story apartment. Although a cargo elevator is provided for your luggage and anything else you don't want to carry up the stairs, guests must be able to negotiate stairs safely. If you have any small children you must take responsibility for their safety.

**Pet Policy**
I get a lot of requests to make an exception to my policy of not allowing pets. Not only do I need to protect my investment, but I need to consider those that may have pet allergies. With all the carpet and the top grain leather couch, this apartment is simply not suited for animals.

** PLEASE READ BELOW REGARDING CARGO LIFT**
The cargo lift is provided to move inanimate cargo only. If you use the cargo lift for any other purpose you assume all risk and liability in the event you or your agents or representatives are injured or killed, personal property is damaged, or any damage results to the Landlords property.

**EV Charging**
A Level 1 -110v 30a RV outlet is available for a small fee, upon request, for EV charging. Guest is a responsible for providing proper adapter for their vehicle. Guest should make contact with me prior to booking, or at least prior to arrival to ensure availability and access.

**Cleanliness note**
In between guests we wash ALL bedding. Many hosts, and most hotels, do not wash bed cover often. They often use big fluffy comforters that look great in pictures but are impractical and difficult to wash. We use thin fleece blankets that are warm, comfortable, and very easy to wash. We also ALWAYS wash all bathroom floor mats, and ALWAYS clean and disinfect all hard surface floors. I was surprised to discover how many people out there simply sweep in between guests, and only wash bathroom mats when they look dirty. .
