Stayed Aug 25, 2025This is a fantastic property. The accommodations are very well taken care of, clean, no odors, and comfortable. Enjoy the sound of the loons at night and the easy walk down to the lake. The landlord is responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the canoes, docks, plentiful seating area to read a book and watch the lake, and large grassy area for games during our stay. If you're looking for a relaxing Maine getaway, give these camps a try!

Stayed Jul 11, 2024Ideal location (10min drive) for our long weekend stay near the New England Music Camp. Complete amenities for relaxing by the lake and preparing simple meals. Pet friendly policies made this the ideal choice for everyone in our friends and family. Some may find accessing the loft through the garage and laundry a bit industrial, but the loft itself is a clean, bright, and a comfortable space.

Stayed May 24, 2024The property was very clean and well-appointed with everything you might need. Hosts were very welcoming. Location on Messalonskee Lake was perfect for mixing lake activities like fishing and swimming with lawn activities. Between grilling, morning coffee, and just relaxing, the covered porch got a workout. Pet friendly was a real perk.

Stayed Aug 6, 2022This property is great for families. The property is shared with 3 other camps. Little privacy but other renters were friendly. Steep hills to walk up from the beach area. Steep stairs to walk up to the loft. Other renters are able to use the downstairs washer and dryer so lots of early morning wake up from other campers noise. The owners are extremely nice and accomodating. Friendly campers offered us fried dough on our first night. Another camper offered us a beautiful sunset cruise on the pontoon boat. The lake water and beach area are very clean and beautiful! We enjoyed our stay very much! Julie

Stayed Sep 3, 2021The loft is adorable inside and we did enjoy our stay by the lake, it was very relaxing although we did not spend as much time there as we hoped. It was very close to family which we loved. Not having internet was a problem because we had some work and school assignments to complete. We found the owners to be very friendly and responsive. We would stay there again! Thank you Doug and Jennifer!!
