Cozy 2 bedroom suite

Cute spot close to the airport. In an older house so you can hear the people living upstairs. Glad they are there as Sidney is under serviced in terms of hotels.

We enjoyed staying in the suite. The owners gave us enough privacy all the staying time so we felt respected. We checked out on time and nobody prompted us to go which felt noticeably good. Easy process to check in and check out. The suite was equipped with everything needed for the stay.

It was spacious, comfortable and bright. Proximity to the ferries was very nice!

This home is close to the ferry and airport. The amenities are as advertised, with bathroom, laundry and kitchenette. Could hear gentle feet above, but nothing disruptive. Our communication with the host was good, they even let us check in early.

The Flying Flamingo was great! Very cute, I am in love with the decor. Also very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. Walking distance or easily cab-able to the core of Sidney, and a short drive to Victoria.

It was very convenient to access Sidney and highway 17. The kitchen was nice and bright in the morning and the electric fireplace helped warm up the living area with cooler days.

Nice place, all the amenities you need. Need were very comfortable. Couldn't cast my cell phone to the TV, but that was probably my problem (phone couldn't discover the TV). Great communication and check in check out was flawless. My only concern was the kitchen floor was a 2 inch step up from the other rooms, might be an issue with seniors (we had no problem)

The floors need to be all one level. It is a tripping hazard.Bathtub very slippery.

My family and I rented this place in March and in July, and both times we love our time on the Island in this suite. It is perfectly located, in a quiet corner but close to Sidney, it is clean and comfortable. It has everything you need to live cozy. Nobody bothers you, but if you need a support or have questions, the owner is always helpful. My family and I are planning to be back again.

With an easy arrival and a welcoming environment, our stay at this VRBO was excellent. It’s only a couple minutes drive from the Victoria airport, which was really convenient for us, especially since our plane landed a few hours late.While not in walking distance to downtown Sydney, within five minutes we were easily parked at the waterfront with lots of access for our kids to run around, explore and play.On our last day, grandma forgot her glasses in the suite after we had packed up. Wendy went above and beyond to help return the glasses to us. We can’t thank her enough! We would happily stay here again :)

Uneven floor triped several times the towels had a strage smell the notes left kin side made me feel like a kid that some one was talking down to me and a heavy footed person upstairs was not enjoying

Great location….short walk to downtown. Very clean and well equipped

Cute place. Flamingo theme was fun. Very clean. Pull out couch bed had a memory foam mattress that very comfortable. Other beds in the unit were comfortable with nice linens. Responsive hosts. Location a very short drive into Sidney. There are foot sounds overhead but it was not bothersome or late at night.

We had a very good time at the property. My family and I are grateful to the owner, Wendy, for the place and for the prompt service.

Fun decor details, but some basic comforts missing. Kitchen utensils were scanty, no oven, or spices available.

Was a great place, except the stove is inoperable, hot plate only worked on one of two burners.

Property was in a good location. Pretty spacious for the most part. Very small bathroom with no counter space. Lots of tripping hazards. No signs to watch your step. Not great for older people or for people with mobility issues. Did not appreciate the threat of being fined $500 for smoking on the public street. Having to clean the place after staying there was a new thing for us. Wash towels and strip the sheets etc. no working stove and no coffee maker unless you want a French press. No place to sit outside. Yard was quite unkept.

Suite was spacious and clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. I rated low on communication because I left a pair earrings behind and messaged the host, but havent heard back.

The property was nice … there could have been an outdoor designated area to enjoy the sunshine
