Cozy 2-bedroom apartment 6 minutes to EWR Prudential Hotels NYC

Upon arrival we noted that the property exterior was littered with trash and broken glass. It was also noted that there was nowhere to park your car except on the street. Property interior did not resemble the pictures that were posted online (compare what we saw with what is online). The neighborhood was sketchy, slum like and did not feel safe. We didn’t feel safe nor were the accommodations even marginally acceptable.

Owner was very responsive. The pictured listing isn’t what we stayed in because of a maintenance issue so I won’t give a complete review. Owner and his sister responded to all of our needs. Replacement housing was very nice on the inside and well air conditioned.

The inside of the property was clean and met some expectations. The outside had trash all over the place and very high grass where we had to walk. Pictures were only taken from the inside if pictures showed the outside has well, we would have never picked this place scary neighborhood to say the least. There was no a/c had to open a window for air. The shower leaked water from the door and would make the floor a pool of water. The property was located in an area were you had to be lucky to find a parking which was in the street. First night we spent an hour waiting for a parking to open. Our last night there when we got back to the property no parking was available so we parked in the driveway soon to be awakened by the property owners wife with a aggressive banging on our door, we thought it was ICE agents looking for immigrants. Seriously though way to crazy to be banging on the door at 2:00 am in the morning to move our vehicle from the driveway, when we had to be at the airport at 430 in the morning. Terrible will never stay at this place again.
