COZY 1BR Apartment in Sunset Crest w/ KING BED

Perfect location and ideal for a “value for money” self catering stay in Barbados, not that we bothered with the “catering” given the local bars and restaurants!

The property was amazing and clean in a beautiful residential area. Stu was amazing and attentive. Loved this little gem.

The cost for this Apt was high, but with the location it was where we wanted to be. King bed was very comfortable and bathroom was very acceptable. However, the coffee pot etc were covered with dust. A fork in the drawer was caked with food and there was only 3, more were plastic.!!We feel for the cost the kitchen was not very well equipped.Having the pool close was great as it was very hot and humid. Thank goodness for the A/C in the bedroom, however that did not cool the front down. With the afternoon sun and thin drapes it was quite unbearable at times. The ceiling fan only blew hot air down. The apt. could use a free standing fan and heavier drapes to help keep out the heat.

Great place and I would definitely recommend for 2 adults and two children. The location is 5 mins walk to beach and entertainment / restaurants etc. The street is really nice and the apartments are modern and look great. The pool is clean and well maintained and wifi is fast. The apartment has everything and more for self catering. Really comfy bed and sofa bed big enough for two smaller children. Cooking facilities are great and they have some UK plug sockets too. Handy for hair driers etc. Stu the host is amazing, great communication when you need it and he was great, let us have a 2hr later checkout so we didn't have to hang around for airport taxi. Would 100% recommend and 10/10 for me given the location, the facilities, the host and the value for money.

The site is very well situated, and will be a good choice for all age groups. Some of the units are still being renovated, the bed in ours was really comfortable, the bathroom and towels well appointed, however the kitchen left a lot to be desired... cooking pans, a frying pan and a roasting dish available to us, but the cooker was almost useless. I had to request dinner plates, as there was only cereal bowls! Microwave available, and a large fridge freezer, minimal cutlery, so defiantly room for improvement. Having discussed this with the manager, I believe these things will get addressed as the refurbishment continues, and would not be a problem if you don't want to self-cater at all. The pool is nice, but not huge. I would consider booking again next year.
