If you don't want to stay within the walls of Siena, this is the perfect spot. The place was spacious, antique yet modern, with every amenity we needed, beautifully landscaped, with onsite parking. In the mornings we'd sit in the garden or the patio with home made espresso and look across to Siena. Simona's mother was so welcoming, it was like we were staying on a family's property (which we were!). We would do this again, for sure!

It was Charming from the start. Great communication at booking. Especially appreciate how timely the information was shared. ...And then to be greeted and treated so warmly when we arrived!! Il Tinaio was ideal for the two of us with the perfect quaint setting. This apartment is laid out nicely, clean and full of thoughtful ammenities. The kitchen was well-equipped and we would buy local meats, cheeses and produce and enjoyed cooking each evening. The location was a great base to drive each day. Over our 6-night stay we took in places such as Cortona, Montepulciano, Volterra ,Bonconvento and of course Siena. We even drove to the seaside/ Porto San Stefano. We travel often and are discerning and we highly recommend! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay.

My husband and I spent 6 nights in Villa Caprera and truly enjoyed the beautiful setting and the ease with which we were able to get in and out to see the Tuscan countryside. Daniela was a superb host and recommended a lovely restaurant in Strove, Ristorante Casalta, that was far off the beaten path and absolutely wonderful! The bed was comfortable, the linens elegant (linen and cotton), and the shower quite spacious by European standards. The stainless steel kitchen was modern and updated with nice appliances, and we even had ample freezer space for stocking up on gelato from the grocery store, which was close by. All in all, a charming flat in a lovely part of Siena!

Beautiful, clean and comfortable apartment very centrally located in Tuscany. Taxi service very easy to arrange to access Siena, when we didn't feel like driving or walking up. Antica Salumeria at the end of the street had fantastic meat, cheese, wine, and take-away food. Daniela (property owner) met us at check-in with baskets of fresh lettuces from her garden along with fresh-pressed olive oil. Very lovely place to stay!

Upon our arrival, we were totally amazed at how charming and well equipped this Italian property was. My husband and I have traveled through Europe quite a bit and are VRBO owners ourselves so we are very particular about the condition of properties. Daniela met us at the property when we arrived and showed us everything, and even had baked a dessert and left us a bottle of fresh pressed olive oil for our stay. She lived right across from the property and although she was available if needed, we felt like we were the only ones on the property. The location was perfect to explore Tuscany and all of the hill towns from. We hope to return again soon and will definitely stay at this same property.

Difficult to find, would help if sign for villa on the turning or even down near the property. Once found fabulous in every way. Good facilities in apartment. Comfortable bed and great shower. Really enjoyed sitting in gardens with amazing view all over Siena.

Great property. Good size. Quiet. Private. Well equipped. Great location. Simona's Mother is your host and she is a wonderful caring and warm lady. It is true that she provides you a welcoming bottle of Prosecco and bakes you a cake. She also left us a large bowl of apricots and wonderful Italian Pomodoros from her garden. We would definitely stay here again for a month. It is near all highways. While there is a local bus close by, a car is necessary.
