Stayed Mar 18, 2026The apartment was excellent. Tons of storage and lots of light. The bathroom was huge/spa like with a tub and a big shower. Check in was simple and the host communication was excellent!! Great location and easy to get to several metro stops and walking to great neighborhoods. There are 3 cafe/bars on the ground floor which was great but very popular with students drinking quite late on weekends. The noise was fine since we had our windows closed at night in March but might be a bit loud in the hotter months A very lively spot and very safe. Highly recommend.

Stayed Sep 27, 2025We had a great stay in this penthouse apartment. This is an active and busy neighborhood with many restaurants, shops and bakeries nearby. It is a short walk to the metro and rail stations. Beautiful views from the windowsAs noted in other reviews, the stairs are the only way up and the original staircase is tight with luggage. We enjoyed the extra steps, but not recommended if you are unable to manage stairs easily.

Stayed Sep 3, 2025We had a wonderful stay in Paris! The apartment in the Latin Quarter was in a fantastic location—close to so many cafes, restaurants, and attractions, yet still quiet and comfortable. The space was very clean and well-maintained, which made it easy to feel at home right away. Communication with the host was excellent—clear, quick, and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Paris and would love to stay here again in the future!

Stayed Jun 12, 2025It was a perfect location. It introduced me to an area that I had never seen before and it was so fun. It was lively downstairs but very nice and calm upstairs. The room was fantastic. Clean, functional and adorable. I liked the staircase. I definitely felt like I was staying in a part of history. It is super close to the pantheon and the university.

Stayed Jun 25, 2025The apartment is lovely - high ceiling and plenty of space. The downsides are that it is a fifth floor walk up on an extremely narrow spiral staircase, which makes bringing your suitcases, groceries, and laundry, very challenging. There also is NO AC. We were there when it was 90 plus degrees F and it was unbearable. We had to spend two nights at a hotel. The neighborhood is very lively with bars open and crowded late at night. That was fine with us but some people might find it too loud at night.

Stayed Jun 20, 2025We loved the location! Even though we were there during record high temperature, there was a nice breeze between windows. Walking stairs kept us in shape so we didn’t mind that either.

Stayed Jun 15, 2025What a wonderful location! Our family of four (kids are 8 and 12) loved this apartment. The view was great and we loved the cafes below and the pastry, cheese, and wine shops nearby. We had some issues at check in (no key when we arrived), but it was quickly resolved. We would absolutely return and recommend the apartment to others.

Stayed Jun 1, 2025Excellent location in the Latin Quarter. Walking distance to many key areas of the city. Many great restaurants and bars just out the door. Mostly young locals, few tourists. Great view out our window to the street below and Notre Dame in the distance. Apartment is likely in the 200 year old range so keep your expectations realistic. The apartment is a studio, so best for one couple, or family with one or two kids.

Stayed Jun 6, 2025Great Parisian feel. Everything we needed for our stay. We prepared a light breakfast daily then enjoyed local restaurants for dinner.13 Euro for Uber ride to the Eiffel Tower for the evening lights. About an hour by foot to the Eiffel Tower.Short 15 minute walk to Notre Dame and 30 minute walk to the Louve.

Stayed May 25, 2025The only thing I don’t like about the property is that they don’t have an elevator. It’s an old building. Otherwise it’s a great stay and Cozy 5 has great views. The TV turns on but that’s all, no cable or anything. It’s like having an apartment. We enjoyed our stay

Stayed Apr 28, 2025This was a quaint little space, especially being in the Latin Quarter. I greatly enjoyed the view and the architecture surrounding. We were there on a holiday week, so the restaurants below were happening. Closing the window did help with the volume. It is a tight walk up.

Stayed Apr 2, 2025The apartment is in a great location and is a nice size. However, this apartment is listed and described as a one bedroom. Be aware this this is a studio. That is a big disappointment if you were looking for some separation. There are lots of fun spots to eat and drink nearby. There's also a small grocery nearby. Access to Metro lines and RER C line is also very convenient in this location. There are two busy bars/restaurants below but noise was not an issue for us. Check-in/check-out were super easy with very detailed, helpful instructions from the host with photos. Having laundry in the building was also very nice though, like any common apartment laundry, you may need to wait. As others have mentioned, the stairs are no joke with narrow and uneven steps. We had a large piece of luggage full of ski stuff and it was a haul getting it up and down.

Stayed Apr 14, 2025Great apartment in very good location. The Pantheon out the back door and Notre Dame out the front window. Magnifique. But “The Stairs” are brutal. Narrow with winding angular steps. No way an average person can carry a suitcase up or down comfortably. Beware! The apartment is great but the stairs!

Stayed Mar 17, 2025My partner and our two teens had a wonderful stay here. The view across the Paris rooftops and even Notre Dame cathedral towers was so beautiful! The lofted ceilings and spacious room were lovely. There were several popular cafes downstairs but the apartment was very quiet. Great location for walking to all the major sites!

Stayed Mar 6, 2025The studio apartment was clean and perfectly appointed for our needs. There were three of us staying there 2 young adults and 1 middle aged adult). There is a large double bed and two single cot-like beds on the sides of an L shaped bench with mattresses that slept fine. Bathroom is large and nice, kitchen is small but largely unneeded as you will eat out for every meal. Terrific location. As other reviews note, there are lots of steps up to 6th floor but everyone managed fine. Overall it was perfect for our needs.

Stayed Dec 10, 2024This is a charming, well-equipped studio with a really lovely view towards Notre Dame, which is in walking distance. In the middle of the Quartier Latin, so plenty of bars, restaurants and amenities. 10 mins on foot from Luxembourg, major public transportation hub. Excellent large double bed; small kitchen, good for simple meals, coffee machine (capsules) and dish washer. Spacious bathroom. Wifi worked very well. Three small notes: the staircase is steep and narrow (it's also beautiful), lugging your suitcase up to the fifth floor requires quite some effort; the bars downstairs can be a bit noisy in the evening (but that's part of the Quartier); and there's a ventilation fan in the kitchen that sometimes switches on at night. As someone who stays in Paris quite often, however, I find this place excellent value for money in terms of space, location, comfort and atmosphere.

Stayed Dec 18, 2024We are from the USA and this apartment was a superb location for wandering the Seine river. From the hill of the Pantheon to Notre Dame, Pompidou and D'Orsay, walking was easy. It was only a quick Uber or taxi to the Eiffel tower. With luggage, traveling from the Gare du Nord was best by taxi. With light liggage, metro would be just fine to get to the apartment. The restaurants below the apartment were super fun. It is a young, college crowd, (me and my wife are 40), but the wine bar, Les Pipos was the best. The owner let us buy wine there each night to take up to the apartment. He even gave us wine glasses. I recommend Les Pipos for the wine selection and small bites of food. We had a great time here, and we would book this aparment again when we come back to Paris.

Stayed Nov 27, 2024This was a beautiful and lively location with lots of small merchants nearby. Underneath studio are a couple of restaurant/bars filled with students. You are near St Germain de Pres, le Pantheon, metro stations, 10 minute walk to la Seine et Notre Dame. The owner is lovely and super flexible. Communication was quick. I would come back! The studio was clean and well-lit. Keep in mind it’s on the 4-5th story so a small struggle of windy stairs to get to top. No elevators. Overall, had a lovely experience that Superseded my expectations!!

Stayed Nov 6, 2024This is a great little studio apartment within walking distance to the Metro, Notre Dame and Latin Q shops and restaurants. Get ready for the stairs that take you to this top floor studio. There are a lot of steps which are small, crooked and unlevel which made carrying our bags a challenge. My wife & I couldn't stop laughing as it felt like we were on a ride at Disney. However, we found that after a few glasses of wine, the steps evened out and there weren't as many! The small restaurants in the square below the apt. were absolutely packed every night and they stay open until 2:00AM. The good news is the apt is very quiet and there was no noise coming up from the square. The check-in and check-out documents were VERY clear and the folks who manage this apartment were excellent throughout the process. Highly recommend this location if you're not afraid of stairs and want to work off the fabulous French cuisine at the end of your day.

Stayed Sep 24, 2024We enjoyed staying at Cozy 5. It was just as described. Most places we visited was in walking distance and there was plenty of places to eat close to Cozy 5. The stairs going up are a little difficult, especially with luggage. We are 54 and did not have a problem, but someone much older might find it difficult.
