Stayed Jun 26, 2017Easily, the best choice we made for our trip!!! The apartment is great, modern, clean, very well located, excellent appliances, large. Everything is perfect and handled with a special touch, from robes, to flowers and a bottle of champagne. On top of everything, Isabela is a wonderful host, helping us from day the day we booked to the end. From arranging our private transfer, which cost more but is definitely worth it, to letting us stay late the day we left. For us, traveling with kids, those are the small things that make great differences. She is constantly nearby for assistance, and easy to contact. Anyway, like I said, the best choice we could have made in Venice. I definitely recommend her place and I'll stay there again when going back.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My husband and I along with our son and daughter in law got to stay here and need I say, we'd go back in a heart beat!! It was fabulously decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable (the pictures hardly did it any justice). It couldn't have been more centrally located. Taking Isabellas advise, we mostly wondered aimlessly throughout the city. Often the kids returned with with tears of joy in their eyes having experienced pure Venetian splendor, never mind they devoured every morsel of food and culture they could possibly take in. Isabella is the ambassador for Venice. She was spot on with ever bit of information and advise she generously shared with us and really made our stay. She even has several restaurants very close to the apartment and by far the best we experienced in Venice. From our initial planning to our sad good byes, Isabella went far beyond anything we could have expected or hoped for. We so appreciate you Isabella, Jessica and Fillipo, our hearts are overflowing with love. Hope to see you again soon. Mahalo & Aloha!!! Paul, LJo, Justin and Julia

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My wife, her cousin and I stayed there for seven nights! EVERYTHING that everyone has posted is 100 percent on target!!! The apartment is everything displayed in the pictures AND MORE!!! Just like everyone else, Isabella stocked the kitchen with items that were much appreciated and the Prosecco was such a classy touch! She contacted a water taxi for our arrival and even met us at the drop off bridge when we arrived. She arranged a water taxi for our departure upon request as well. I cannot speak enough of her incredible taste, hospitality and professionalism! Now, the restaurant downstairs (Oliva Nera)! OMG!!! Fantastic! Hands down, one of the best dinners we had while in Venice if not the BEST! The wine she suggested was phenomenal! The squid ink pasta was incredible! The lasagna was out of this word and the TIRAMISU!!! JUST WOW!!! Sorry for all the caps but when I say that words cannot express how great our dinner AND our stay was, I wholeheartedly mean that! If ever in Venice again, we will not hesitate to pick this place again! PS. On a side note, I would like to thank whomever left an ankle wrap with the freezer packs! My wife had sprained her ankle two days prior to our trip and it really came in handy!!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Spent several great days with two girlfriends at the end of the Venetian Carnival in this lovely apartment. The real Casa dei Greci apartment was even better than the listing description, with a big kitchen full of modern appliances, utensils, and all that is needed for a getaway (including unlimited supply of scrumptious coffee, and a bottle of prosecco waiting for guests in the fridge!!) There are two bedrooms, one with a good king size bed, the second with a sofa and with ensuite bathroom. Everything is spotlessly clean, new, nicely decorated... The only thing we missed (a bit) was a normal living room to take a rest after a long day ramblings across wonderful Venice. The kitchen though has comfortable chairs and a big dining table. Bed-linens, and towels, and bathrobes (yes, there are even bathrobes!!) are very good. The location is unrivalled, 10 minutes from San Marco square, five minutes from S. Zaccharia vaporetto stop, but in a very quiet side street, so it is comfortable to sleep with open windows, even in the hustle of carnival! The host - Isabella - is very friendly, sociable and helpful! She arranged our transfer from the airport and met us at the dock in heavy rain and wind, and she took care of everything we asked for during our stay. We felt almost at home. Isabella also runs a great restaurant behind the corner - Oliva Nera. It is really good, we had dinner there twice and both meals were just yummy! The selection of wines is also very good, ask Isabella what goes well with your dishes! I definitely recommend this great apartment to everybody travelling to Venice! Isabella, we miss you already, and we hope to come back soon!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My elderly mother, sister and sister-in-law stayed at this lovely apartment for two nights in September, 2013 and I can't recommend it highly enough. With two spacious bedrooms, two 3-piece bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen, it was the perfect retreat for us after busy days of exploring Venice. The apartment was spotless and located a short walk from all the main attractions that Venice has to offer. Best of all, our hosts Isabella and Dino were fantastic. Isabella was a joy to deal with and she was incredibly helpful, from arranging transportation to helping us with our luggage when we arrived and when we departed. As it happens, they own a restaurant very close to the apartment and the meal we had there was the best we experienced in Italy (try the lasagna!). A wonderful stay!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The apartment was more than we could ask for. Hosts (Isabella and Dino) were most helpful with arranging for water taxi to deliver us from the Santa Lucia train station to the apartment, making our arrival into Venice easy and stress free. All details were looked after, including a child size robe for our 10 year old daughter, sparkling wine in the fridge and a generous supply of coffee for our stay. Apartment was close to San Marco square and many popular sites in Venice. Treat yourself to a wonderful meal at Oliva Nera (Dino and Isabella's restaurant) just around the corner from the apartment. Best tiramisu in all the land! We can't say enough about our stay, except that should the opportunity present itself, we would definitely stay there again. Thanks Dino and Isabella for making our vacation!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This apartment was superb! Hidden in a small **quiet** side street within easy walking distance to St. Marco, it was very easy to find with the map the apartment owners provided prior to arriving. What was our favorite part? The spectacularly well-stocked kitchen? Large refrigerator? Table for six? Three flat screen TVs? Two bathrooms? Wifi? We loved it all! Perhaps the best feature was the heavy window shutters you could close at night. Our kids have never slept so well and so late the next morning! The restaurant downstairs, operated by the property owners, is by far the best food we had in Venice. Wait until the owner draws the dessert menu for you! You are in for a treat. Enjoy.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Just spent several weeks in Italy and southern France, and Casa dei Greci was a wonderful home during our stay in Venice. Located just east of Piazza San Marco, the apartment was less than 10 minutes walk away (from Piazza San Marco), and we found very convenient to the Rialto Bridge, Ca D'Oro and much of the interesting shopping areas. Perhaps most importantly, the hosts, Isabella and Dino, were absolutely wonderful and charming, and extremely helpful. Their restaurant downstairs, the Osteria Oliva Nera, was a great treat while we were visiting (try the stuffed fig appetizers). There is also a well-stocked, grocery store less than 5 minute walk around the corner. The apartment itself is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is newly renovated with good pots, pans and utensils. The bathrooms are clean and very functional. If there is any drawback at all, the kitchen doubles as the common area (no separate living room/family room). I would highly recommend Casa dei Greci [for a family of four] during a Venice vacation.
