Coronari Enchanting Two Bedroom Apartment

There’s a bar right in front of the house that doesn’t close until 2am every day of the week. Very crowded and extremely noisy throughout the night. Impossible to fall asleep.

We were very happy with our stay in Rome. The apartment was light & spacious as depicted and fit our family of 2 adults & 3 teenagers comfortably. The “children’s” room as per the pictures has been cleaned out to fit additional beds which suited us fine but may be disappointing for a younger family. The property is also conveniently located on the corner of a popular square but made it quite noisy late at night. We enjoyed the easy walk and proximity to many of the city iconic landmarks and bus stops. Great to have the use of the laundry during our stay and the communication with the owners was fantastic. The apartment was very nice just beware if want to sleep at night it gets very loud in the plaza

The noise level in the street directly beneath the bedroom windows made it impossible to sleep from 10 pm to 4 am. Bathroom with soaking tub and hand shower wand needs to have a shower curtain to contain the spray; the height of the side of the tub made it especially difficult for seniors to use. Because of the noise level at night we would not stay here again.

We were disappointed to find that the pictures in the apartment listing were clearly taken some years ago. There’s now no children’s equipment in the bunk bedroom, the playroom has nothing except a tattered poster, box of Lego and a camp bed. The whole place seems shabbier and more battered than the photos appear. Plug sockets coming out of the walls, large cracks in mirrors, shabby paintwork, broken stools, lounge air conditioning barely works etc. Not well cleaned or looked after with limescale caked around the kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen is large but fridge / freezer had broken bits that weren’t clean and we didn’t use the oven more than necessary as didn’t seem to have been cleaned for a long time. Bath plug didn’t hold water which made things difficult with 2 small kids and no cleaning equipment. Location is good but noisy - the double and bunk rooms have double glazing but the camp bed room doesn’t and made it hard to get to sleep. I’m sure the place was lovely 10 years or so ago when it was first done up (which seems to be what’s shown in the pictures) but it’s now more run down.
