This is the second time we have stayed at The Stables. The location is good for us as it's close to everything we are interested in. It's very quiet at night which is fantastic for us as most hotels we have previously stayed in in The Cotswolds haven't been for one reason or another. There are great places to eat within a short distance.

Spacious property in a very quiet location. Large well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Large lounge with comfy settees and armchairs. Large tv. I would recommend finding the driveway to The Stables using Streetview as I did before your stay as it might be tricky finding the property in the dark this time of year. There is a small name plate low down on the grass verge by the driveway on the left hand side of the road as you are about to leave Broad Campden if arriving from the direction of Chipping Campden.

First time visit to the UK and the stables stay was 5 stars. We loved the area and enjoyed talking to the local at the pub. 5 stars for the local pub as well.

This is a lovely, spacious house in a very pretty village in a great location in the middle of the Cotswolds. Three large and comfortable bedrooms, a huge and very well equipped kitchen, a vast living room with comfy sofas and underfloor heating all over the house. There were only three of us, but it would also suit a family or larger group of friends well. The only negatives...while the downstairs shower room looks brand new and is great, the upstairs bathroom is in need of an upgrade and it's actually not possible to use both bathrooms at the same time (no water upstairs if someone is showering downstairs). This could be a problem if there are six of you. The furniture in the snug also needs either re-stuffing or replacing and a very easy update would be a new Smart TV in the large living room. Off-season, especially, it would make a difference, particularly if there are children staying. However, this certainly didn't ruin our stay and we very much enjoyed our holiday and our time at the Stables.

Good location near to Chipping Campden with farm shop nearby and excellent pub five minutes walk away. For walkers, there are many footpaths radiating from here. The house is comfortable and the beds/linen excellent. The large open plan kitchen is the social centre. A few improvements could make things even better; a cafetiere or two, shower guard for upstairs bathroom, and modrnised decor.

We spent nearly a week here as a family. We always looked forward to return to the cottage in the afternoon and evenings. It was great to spend time in the living room and garden. The kitchen is excellently equipped as well.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was just as we had hoped for. Located at one end of a very pretty and quiet village. 15 mins walk across the picturesque countryside to Chipping Campden.

We stayed at The Stables with our daughter, son in law and their 4 month old twins. The accommodation is spacious and there was plenty of room for us all to spread out. The beds in all rooms were very comfy with lovely linen. The kitchen is very well equipped and there was fresh milk and tea and coffee left for us. The village pub, The Baker’s Arms, is a 10 minute walk from the cottage and well worth a visit, we ate there twice during our stay. Would recommend if you want to stay in the Broad Campden area.
