Convenient Tourist Location! Free Breakfast, Kitchen, Seasonal Outdoor Pool!

Homeless people lived there and children in diapers were in pool. There is a strange odor in halls, not in room.

Not as bad as some negative review describe, which almost make me choose another play to stay. Very dog friendly. Excellent customer service. The room keys don't work most of the time and that was annoying.

Front desk staff were excellent and attentive. It was all downhill from there. Entryway stairwell to room stank of cigarettes, and dirty with leaves and dirt. Hallway less stinky, but still pretty bad. Room smelled OK. Dog fur on couch. Table and desk surfaces had residue on them - thus not wiped clean. Then, after laying in bed 30 mins and feeling cool and clammy, I discovered the mattress was wet with urine!! Absolutely disgusting!! Immediately went and asked for another room. It smelled bad like the hallway (combo of pets & cigarettes)The table and desktops also had residue on them, the kitchenette floor was sticky - NOPE. We went back to the front desk and requested a full refund (still waiting because VRBO is a third party booking) and drove home that night, cutting our weekend short by two days :( The room looked like the photos. The staff at the check in desk were really great trying to help us... But they couldn't because it was so disgusting.

The halls reeked of pot, seafood and MANY other smells…the in room carpet had huge stains (didn’t dare take out shoes off) and the couch was also so stained you didn’t want to sit on it! There were long black hairs in the bathroom and neither of us have long or black hair!

The VRBO is really a suite hotel, so the clientele are short term laborers or large family gatherings, which is fine but they were not respectful of others or the property. Alcohol consumption and smoking at the entrances make it difficult to get in, and unpleasant to have that litter on the ground. It was most unpleasant to have guests smoking out by the poolside. That aside, the room accommodations were fine except that the carpet is old and badly stained. The breakfast was really very good, the lobby lovely, nice fireplace there. The staff were kind, helpful, and determined to make things as nice as possible. Manager Debbie W is particularly patient, thoughtful, and sensitive to public safety. doors made entry difficult

I enjoyed the location right next to a lot of restaurants and attractions. Staff were welcoming and polite. Not all rooms had all amenities available. Free Breakfast could use some improvement but had a variety, I’m just picky. Minor renovations would make this place amazing.
