A big concern was throughout my whole stay the place smelled like gas, mold or something. I had to keep both doors open. The nights were tough when I had to close the doors & the smell was bad. Spoke to Flora & she said they had just turned on the gas pilot. The second thing was when taking a shower the stopper would not go up or down so the water stayed in the tub and took hours for it to go down. Flora did say that a plumber had gone before my stay to take care of this problem yet the problem still existed while i was there. It would also help if the shower drape had a liner so that the cloth shower curtain did not get soaked. Flora did not seem to be concerned since the water did not get on the floor. It is a quiet area and a rustic place. I did read from the messages other people left they were happy that Flora and/or daughter reached out to them on their stay to see if all was good. I also would of liked that but was not. I only had contact with Flora as I was loading up my car to leave. Also, when staying at Flora's place make sure you follow all the notes given because you will be charged with various things like unpluging the TV satellite. I have used on many occasion rentals & never had to do get damage coverage. I wasn't given the option to do this or not. I needed a place I just accepted it. I also paid for the rental but not given the entry code until I signed a rental agreement. Never had to do this with any other rentals
We were very happy with the experience. The residence was very clean and included everything we needed. It is very close to โmust seeโtourist spots. It is located in a very quiet and private spot. We highly recommend this.
We loved the location. We were out of the hustle and bustle of downtown SantaFe, but 10 Or 15 minutes to everything. That includes the significant historical sites and numerous places to eat. We loved our stay in a large and comfortable room that was tastefully decorated with a homey welcoming way.
This studio met was a wonderful home while I was waiting for the closing of my own home. I stayed more than a month. I sipped coffee on the patio, worked using the internet most days, and enjoyed the Santa Fe sunsets. The host is most gracious and I now consider her a friend!
5 stars!
Had a wonderful time in Santa Fe with a country retreat to rest up in after a bustling day in town! The lockable industrial screen doors allowed for the option of sleeping with a cool breeze or we could shut the doors and go for air conditioning. We had to do one night with the natural air because one shouldnโt always use go for the perfect temperature.
quiet place. nice owners, good location. On the rustic side. next time, will not bring pets. Was to hard with too many rules to enjoy day touring. Owner and staff were there every day doing something. not as private as I would have liked but was okay.
I stayed for one month with my little dog, Lulu. Our accomadations had every thing we needed. the staff checked with us frequently to see if we needed additional supplies. They were very respectful of my privacy and called ahead. The view of the sun going down behind the mountain each evening was beautiful. It was a quiet and peaceful retreat. I would recommend it to my friends! 5 stars! A nice homey feeling; a family run retreat!
My wife and took a four night trip to Santa Fe as first time snow skiers. The studio we rented was absolutely perfect for our stay. Comfortable bed, plush towels, comfortable furniture, etc, etc. Very private, no noise, great views. We were able to park just a few steps from the door. Owner Flora and her daughter Wanette were both very nice and easy to communicate with. If we ever make back to Santa Fe, this is where we would want to stay.
Flora and Wanette's studio was perfect for my extended stay. It has a beautiful view and it's 10-15 min from the plaza. It's a good size studio with all amenities. If I ever visit Santa Fe again this is where I'll stay.
