Comfy Downtown Detroit Loft with free parking.

Just like other reviews the area and building aren't the best. But the inside of this place was wonderful and welcoming. My host was communicative and answered my questions immediately. I felt cared for the whole time I was there.

The apartment itself was very clean, perfect lighting location, the apartment has a very cool industrial vibe but feels warm and homey, the host goes above and beyond. The parking lot, outside of the building itself and the interior stairways look pretty rough but DO NOT let that deter you, the apartment and host are great and we will stay again when we are in the area.

If you are visiting Detroit for a vacation, this is probably the best place you could stay. On the outside the place looks pretty iffy. Even the stairway inside is a little rough. But inside the space, it's fantastic!! My host greeted me with a personal message on the chalk wall! I never figured out how to do my laundry, oh well. Decent restaurants nearby, and my meal at Johnny Noodle King (3/4 mile) was really awesome!

Absolutely awesome stay! The apartment is super clean and cozy and the property owner is so thoughtful with her little extras and touches that make this apartment so fun and inviting! Great communication with the host! Highly recommend! A hidden GEM for sure! We loved our stay so much and would 100% book again!!!! And while you’re here, make sure to stop in Corktown at Cork & Gabel and Batch Brewing Company! Great proximity to these amazing restaurants and also just a quick drive or Uber into downtown!

Very convenient to bus lines and downtown. Kitchen is well-appointed and the whole space is comfortable and fairly quiet (the neighbors did sometimes play music very loudly, but they seemed to honor quiet hours).

Our host was amazing very quick at responding to messages and very friendly. The place was very nice and clean!

The loft was very clean and conveniently located to several freeway options. (I was staying for business and was driving back and forth to Dearborn and the airport) as well as the fantastic and unique neighborhood of Corktown. The gated parking was also a bonus.The host provided very good instructions about the keys, parking fob and there was a great coffee station in the loft. The bathroom was very nice. It was a very welcoming stay.

The apartment is beautiful on the inside. Very cozy and well decorated. The hallway and rest of the building didn't look as nice as the actual property, but once you go inside it was very homey and welcoming. Parking was a little tricky for check in but not too bad. My sister found the water piping to be a little loud at night but I didn't notice. Would stay again

Host was adamant that we were quiet and that no parties were allowed. When we arrived there was a welcome note that further mentioned that we must be quiet. But…we were kept up ALL night by a shouting/screaming fellow “tenant” and decided to check out early (which was very inconvenient and costly.) We felt UNSAFE due to the escalating argument and asked for a partial refund thinking that we’d at least get back our money for the 2nd night. Host refunded us 75 stating that they had no control of the noise. We contacted VRBO for a resolution and have not heard anything back. Overall the loft was adequate…not overly clean or comfortable (the bed was awful.) Extremely disappointed in the host, property and how VRBO handled the situation. Ended up having to stay in a hotel that cost more in the suburbs. Stay elsewhere!!!

Great stay. Area is rugged but by no means did I feel unsafe and I walked into downtown Detroit both nights here. Corktown was cool to explore as well. The loft was perfectly cozy, and welcoming

We enjoyed our stay in Detroit and loved the warm welcome we received when we entered the unit. My name was written in chalk on the wall! That was a super cute touch. The area is a LITTLE sketchy. But don’t let that turn you away. Once you’re inside, it’s lovely. I appreciated the toiletries and other items available for use. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in the area!

I had a wonderful experience during my stay. Chanavia was very nice & attentive. Responds in a timely manner. The unit was nice and intimate. Everything was clean and ready for my stay.

The area and outer appearance seemed sketchy, but the dpace was very nice!!! Communication with the host through the app was flawless. She responded very quickly! It was a very nice stay.

First and foremost, the unit is super cute, and welcoming. I loved the whole vibe. The industrial interior, the wood floors, the open concept. Loved it!! Now, the location does look a little off-putting. The doors to the building, and the stairs come off a little sketchy. But it's definitely got the industrial feel, and we loved it. That being said, the upstairs neighbor was quite loud throughout the night, It did make it kind of hard to sleep. No fault of the host, though! Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was warm, welcoming, and comfortable. We would definitely stay again!
