This tiny studio is charming, very well equipped within a walking distance to the beach. The kitchen is minimalist, not a cook kitchen but the fridge is large ans the microwave works well. The shower has nice hot water and the towels are perfect, so clean and soft. The beds are very confortable. There is a nice spot outside, away from the neighbors, shaded by an umbrella with chairs and a bbq, that we did not use. Vacasa has been there when needed to help with entrance code. May we suggest a hammock to make that vacation perfect ?
Beautiful CLEAN!! In under 5 minutes each morning we were walking on the beautiful Nauset Beach A short drive to town… Just Lovely We will be back!!
My pregnant wife and I decided to stay here for 5 days with our ADA dog. When we arrived the first thing we noticed was that this “studio” is actually one-half of the “cottage.” As it turns out, there was a person renting the unit next door. The advertising of this property is inherently misleading … based on the photos and past experiences with VRBO, we believed that we would be renting the entire cottage. As you can see from the photos, the cottage isn’t large and you can hear and pretty much feel the person in the unit next to you moving around and opening doors. It gets worse. The next day, the property management company, Vacasa, called asking if our dog was an ADA dog. We told the company that he was and thought that would be the end of it. Big mistake. That night at ~9:00 PM as my wife and I were tucked in for bed, we got a loud knock at the door. I answered the door and it was a Vacasa property manager asking for the ADA license of our dog. I replied that we didn’t have it on us and he asked that I give him my personal cell phone number so I could text him “when I have it”. This interruption was not only an intrusion of privacy but also exasperated my wife’s anxiety. We decided that the feeling of being watched and sharing a tiny unit with another couple was not worth it, and we left early the following day. If you can, avoid staying here and Vacasa rentals in general as customer service is lacking.
Had a wonderful week at this sweet cottage-style studio. It was light and airy with nice furniture, comfy bed, and I loved the sunny outdoor sitting area. It was clean, had a well stocked kitchenette, and the bathroom is small, but pretty and modern. So many small nice touches, and so close to the beach!
Really lovely room, new bathroom, close to the beach. Walking distance close! Perfect if you need a place to hang your hat.
Beautiful place. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Luxury sheets and towels. Very quiet. Minutes to Nauset Beach. A short drive to excellent restaurants and of course the Cottage Street Bakery. Delightful relaxing stay!!
This made for a great hub as we explored Cape Cod. The property was clean, close to the beach and exactly as listed. We would stay again!
Loved being so close to the beach while in a totally residential neighborhood. Really liked individual outdoor space for our cabin
Positives: short walk to beach, comfy beds, beach chairs provided, easy check in/out process. The okay parts: A few hairs in the bathtub, but that happens. Needs a little TLC. Dark furniture (paint it white?) and super outdated bathroom fixtures. I don't think it would cost much to make this a first rate listing. You can tell I have my own beach rental and have heard this preached to me. So sorry to give you my opinion!
Clean, well maintained and close to the beach. Will rebook in the future
