Stayed Sep 9, 2018We had an absolutely wonderful time at this lovely property. Catherine and Pierre have worked very hard to create such a comfortable home from home, there is absolutely nothing it lacks, and little touches like the parasol that can be taken to the beach are so appreciated. We loved the pool and used it every day. It was very hot during our holiday and to have our own pool was great. We speak very little French and Catherine and Pierre speak little English but we got by. Brush up on your French before you come! We loved the beaches at Farinole and Saleccia (the speedboat ride was very exciting!). We explored the Cap Corse and had a lovely lunch at a tiny restaurant, called La Table d'Oreste, in Morsiglia. There seemed to be only one choice, stuffed sardines, but they were so tasty. The lunch at the restaurant at Parc de Saleccia was also very good. We did not eat out a lot as we had the best table in town, overlooking the sea and mountains, so self catering was not a burden at all. Also we had a great takeaway pizza place about 100 yds away! It was quite hot and it takes longer than you think to drive anywhere so we did not explore as much as we would have liked but we loved relaxing on the beaches. It's a long time since we had a beach holiday and we loved swimming in such lovely clear water. We will certainly return to Corsica and would love to stay at the apartment again.
