Located in the heart of the lively Atlas District, this colorful, one-bedroom BASEMENT apartment boasts walking distance to everything the revitalized H Street corridor & Union Market have to offer. You'll be a 30 second walk to buses, which go directly to Chinatown/White House/Smithsonians & the free DC Streetcar (through March 2026), which will take you down H St or up to Union Station; a great home base to explore DC!

Enjoy this fun & cheerful 845 sq/ft (79 sq/m) apartment. The vibrant space has a DC theme and a cozy atmosphere. Wash off the city after a long day of sightseeing by enjoying the relaxing massage of body jets & a rain shower. Or relax in bed with your own TV while the kids watch Bluey in the living room.

If you have little ones, no need to bring extra gear. We have a pack-n-play for them to sleep in (or to contain them), some toys for them to play with, DVD/Blu-ray player & assorted videos, kid’s plates/cups/cutlery, a washer and dryer to clean off the fun they had in DC, & several other items available by request (these items are shared between multiple properties & available on a first come-first served basis).

Make breakfast in the kitchen with the fresh ingredients you bring back from Whole Foods (only 2 blocks west) or Saturday's farmer's market (5 blocks east) before touring our very walkable city. Enjoy local OTHERS coffee or tea before facing the day

We provide a guest welcome book with neighborhood recommendations, operation instructions for amenities, & loaner SmarTrip cards to use on the metro or bus during your stay.

The owners wanted to make this space something they would be comfortable staying in as guests and hope you will feel the same!

We had an excellent stay! We found the location to be convenient with multiple options for groceries, eateries, and a pharmacy nearby. The apartment was spotless and well stocked enabling us to prepare dinner in. The bed was comfy and the shower was roomy with multiple jet/shower head options. Communication with the host and/or property management company was timely and helpful. I would definitely recommend this colorful DC hideaway, and would stay here again.

Property suited our needs. H street location was great as it had grocery stores on the way back to rental at night, and the DC street car train to take you to Union Station, where you can then get to all the sights from there. The street car was not very reliable though. The host was very responsive.

The apartment was clean, well equipped, comfortable and quiet. Make note it is a basement apartment with only one window from which one cannot see the sky.The street itself had well maintained homes. The 4 to 5 blocks of H Corridor, 30 seconds away, was full of litter, had some antisocial behavior, ( a stabbing just before we arrived) and basically run down. Many of the recommended restaurants had closed permantly. We would have liked a nice cafe with outside tables for coffee etc but in this area one would not want to sit outside near the street. Area was a huge disappointment. However we as an older couple used the free tram and busses even at night. We are city folks.
