This place is just what the Dr ordered. Fabulous lake views and comfortable accommodations. The owners were kind and available for any questions, and the hot tub is perfect for looking out over the lake and enjoying a glass of wine.

Our overall stay was wonderful and just the getaway we needed. The property and home is very beautiful and the hosts are terrific. I should have done better research because I did not know they were going to be upstairs during our visit. We live in a beautiful home alone in Spokane and was looking for a quiet, and private getaway with a hot tub. The hot tub is great! Another little complaint to note, there’s no tv in the bedroom so if you want to lay in bed and watch a movie you cannot. You must de dressed and down the hallway in a tv room. Again, we were still pleased and enjoyed the stay. I will do better research next time but good for folks to know. Thank you.

We had a nice time at this stay - it’s a beautiful property and was very clean. However, this listing is quite misleading. The stay is in the lower level of the hosts’ home and is not entirely private / segregated. If this is the type of stay you are hosting, it should be extremely clear on the listing so people know what they are paying for. We were looking for seclusion on the lake and instead were instructed to enter through the front door of the hosts’ home. VRBO should not allow this type of false advertising, especially given that their whole marketing strategy is that they “only offer private stays.”

My wife and I have wanted to visit family in Idaho but wanted our own getaway. We found this place and we couldn’t have been happier. The host promptly answered our question prior to our arrival he gave suggestions if we wanted to stop for dinner prior to our arrival. He meet us when we arrived and give us a tour of the property. It is nestled on a hillside overlooking the lake. There is a view from every room including the bathroom. There are 2 decks to relax outside and you are a 2 minute walk to a private dock. I’m new to fishing and couldn’t wait to try. I caught many bass, from small to some over 5lbs. I caught my first pike and that was amazing. You’re about a 35 minute drive to Lake Coeur d’elane resort which was busy with shops, restaurants and a long bike/walking trail along the lake. Our favorite day was when we drove to the town of Harrison,where we rode our bike along the lake for a 30 mile round trip. When we got back we enjoyed a nice lunch and then ice cream in the park while watching a live band. The people were friendly and we had a blast. So if you want a great place in a great location where you can enjoy peace and quiet while not being too far from touristy things, this is the place to do it. My wife and I couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

It is a great property for a couple. Don't expect a lot of kitchen space, but for summer it is ideal with BBQ to cook outside. We enjoyed a living space, both patios and a deck on the lake. My only recommendation for Ted is to do something with wasps. It was impossible to eat outside. On the other note, I would update listening by saying that Wi-Fi is not available. But in general, we had a very relaxing time and fully recharged our social batteries in this quiet and rural area. Ted and Bonnie are great hosts. Thank you both!

For several decades I’ve dreamt of visiting Lake Coeur d’Alene. This summer my husband and I stayed at Ted and Bonnie’s beautiful lake house retreat for four nights. The setting was gorgeous overlooking the lake through the plentiful windows and from both decks. ALL their amenities were appreciated, plus, the comfortable bed and lounging furniture. They’ve covered every detail for a memorable stay. Ted even added information to help us become familiar with dining opportunities and activities. Our visit was everything I needed it to be!!! I hope to return some day!

Ted was very kind and helpful; however, he was also respectful of our privacy and barely knew they were there. The house is gorgeous, with amazing views of the lake. Most of the time we utilized their awesome dock and had the best time. Definitely would love to return.

We had such a delightful and relaxing visit. We certainly delighted in the quiet, and well-designed and appointed spaces. We particularly enjoyed both outdoor spaces for leisurely breakfasts and time to watch the sun go down over the lake. We will certainly welcome our first opportunity to stay again at Ted & Bonnie’s space.

Everything was great. A couple comments for the future guests, bigger refrig, put on deck outside and maybe for safety a handrail on the steps to the boat dock. Enjoyed our stay, your home is very nice! Come an see us in arizona.
