Stayed Jun 24, 2024Disgusting apartment! We arrived here and found dead bugs and other filth covering the floor. The area around the apartment seemed extremely unsafe and sketchy, the garage was too small to fit our car, and it was nothing like seen online. The pictures online showed the apartment in a much better light than it actually was. The rooms are tiny and filthy. When we tried to contact the owner to explain these issues, they refered us to VRBO itself, where a representative told us that they couldn't help us. We were forced to find an expensive hotel in a foreign country to stay for multiple nights. Additionally, this apartment was supposedly rented by a premier host, meaning that they consistently provide exceptional rentals. This has made me not trust VRBO at all. Overall, a large health and safety hazard and ruined our expectations for VRBO. This property is not waterfront as described in the listing. The walk to the beach is apx 800 meters down a steep, narrow, winding road.
