Coastal Haven Unbeatable Beach and Village Location

Great property and great location.

Clean and tidy spotless room trying to get in with the car was hard when we arrived. (tip) you need to go to the room first to get the gate operator so you can open it up as there was no one we saw on site luckily no incidents for the 4 days we stayed apart from that very happy to recommend .

Wonderful location and so clean!

Place was perfect for our needs. Very clean. Check in process and check out were so simple. The beach equipment was great especially having the wagon to load it in and so close to walk to beach. My kids asked if we could come back every year. Will definitely stay again.

Had a great long weekend here! The apartment is really close to the beach and the included beach gear made it easier to travel light. I wish we had realized that there were portable AC units that first night; it got very steamy with it, but was comfortable once we found them and figured it out.

Great place would have given it 5 stars but there is no AC in the unit and the ceiling fans and windows open just didn’t cool it enough. Otherwise wonderful place great location easy walk to the beach

What an absolutely perfect get-away for our family vacation. We love Carlsbad and this location could not have been more perfect. The condo was clean, spacious and equipped with everything that we needed to stay four nights - including all the beach chairs, umbrella, etc. and a wagon to haul it all. The only question I had was that the description mentioned it was on the first floor but it was up stairs. We would definitely stay here again. Lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay. 1 block from the beach and a couple blocks from all the shopping and restaurants. I was impressed by all the little things that were provided at this place. From Q-tips, cotton pads, extra towels, beach towels, coffee, filters, tea, S&P, sugar and cream, etc. Having a parking spot is a dream as it’s tough to find parking. We will definitely stay here again.

Overall seamless. This Vrbo has everything you would need for an extended stay. It is in an excellent location. We walked everywhere and there are tons of restaurants nearby. The place was clean and exactly as pictured. We loved this place!

This is by far one of the best VRBO’s I have ever stayed in. Location to beach, shops, food all the tourist destinations was perfect. Hosts communicated great and the space was very open and exactly what we needed. Even had all the necessary beach stuff. We will be back for sure. A

Great location by the beach and old town. Pool was a plus, safe and convenient parking. The room A/C in bedrooms made the unit comfortable in an extreme hot spell.

Our living area stayed super hot because of the heat wave but the rooms stayed cool. Great location and super clean and updated

Great location.

The location of the property was amazing with an easy walk to the beach and town. The property was beautiful exactly as pictured. Check-in was easy. However, communication with the host was a little difficult. There were only 3 bath towels at the property and our request to get more towels was unanswered so we ended up going out to buy more towels. In addition there was not enough toilet paper or paper towel provided so again we had to go out and purchase on our own. Other than lacking in some basic supplies such as towels and paper products this is a great place to stay, super cute and clean. Just be prepared to bring or buy some essentials.

Communications with the property are not easy. The response is very inconsistent. We reached out several times with questions and were answered sometimes and sometimes not. We were initially worried when we didnt get check in instructions and it took me close to two hours on hold to get the info. That said, the location and cleanliness were fabulous. I would definitely recommend this place.
