Clean and convenient to the restaurants of Waynesboro , Skyline Drive and the Wineries, Breweries and Distilleries of Crozet and 151. It only took up 25 minutes to get from the Wintergreen area to our apartment. The only downside was the footsteps from the apartment above BUT we did not hear them while we were sleeping. Highly recommend due to the location!

We needed a place to stay and sleep, and this place served that purpose well. The hot water was nice and the beds were very comfy. However, the futon shown in the listing is not what was there in person - what existed in person was a dirty, unsteady futon that someone should not sleep on. Also, there were no extra sheets or blankets to place on the futon. Finally, there is no accessible thermostat in the unit, and for late fall weather, the place was kept very cold. All in all, it was a place to sleep with hot water and clean beds, but that was the fullest extent of what made this property a quality stay.

No AC, but there was a fan. Didn’t know it was near train tracks. Overall ok

I’d give it a 3.75/5. Overall, worth it for the price! Most other accommodations in the area were significantly more expensive. Sufficient for a quick weekend trip where we barely stayed in the apt. Pros: -Location!! Minutes from Shenandoah and close to several wineries (the purpose of our trip) -Affordable! -Cute little place -Easy to find and check in -Check out instructions reasonable -Beds comfy enough -Super hot water in shower -Enough space for a weekend trip for two adults, a dog, and a baby/pack-and-play -3 fans provided…and heater was sufficient -Enjoyed behind able to use Netflix Cons: -Beds are not made “for Covid purposes”. However, bunk buds are not convenient to make as it is … so not only was this inconvenient for us to have to do after driving 4+ hours and arriving late, it kind of backfired because the mattress protector that was already on wasn’t exactly the cleanest (husband had to pick away hair that had clung to it) - Could use some pest control (saw several dead little gnats in the tub and a couple roaches… it’s a first floor apt so not shocked to see a bug or two but still) - Would recommend bringing a sound machine… could hear upstairs neighbors bouncin around and their dog running around until 1 am but luckily had our baby’s sound machine to help drown it out a bit - No Kcups provided - Uncomfortable pillows - Needed more detailed cleaning… Bathroom walls; bar of soap left behind in tub - No shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided - Would have liked to have more towels *Just as an FYI, the curtain is broken, it was on the ground when we arrived, but we’re able to hang it back up temporarily

-There was mild everywhere, and I’m allergic to mold. -The icebox needs to be defrosted, and there was hair inside it. -There was a dead bug smooshed on the wall that could have been cleaned off prior to our arrival. -The spare roll of toilet paper was dirty. -All 3 of us staying there kept stubbing our toes on the foot of the bottom bunk that sticks out. Other than that, it was nice and warm inside which I appreciated.
