Old remodeled home. Shower is very small but the rest of the rooms were very nice. The outside the house was not very well kept.
This was a very cute apartment, included a complete kitchen, living room with big TV, comfortable queen bed. The bathroom was small but usable. The outside needs some upgrades. We had a great stay and would stay there again.
Convenient location. Everything we needed. Quick communication responses from Kristan.
Pros: Complementary snacks and just in case toiletries were a nice touch. Cons: There was no address number on the exterior of the house making it hard to identify. Steep entry staircase should be mentioned on the description. Tiny bathroom/shower not suitable for large people. Street traffic noise begins at 6 AM. Nonetheless this we would stay there again.
Not worth the price. The property would be adequate for much less per night. Host was good but property was shabby. Driveway was unpaved and bumpy. Grass was not cut and flower beds were weedy. Host requested I wash towels an wash dishes before departure. I have never been asked to do that anywhere I stayed. Definitely not worth the cost.
Nice location in relation to Acadia NP. The House is on a busy street and it being an older house allowed for traffic noise and cold drafts. The host was great with solid communication and nice amenities of snacks and toiletries if needed. TV with streaming in the living room was useful. Security was good and off-street parking was nice. There was a musty odor in the entryway and living room that stayed with us the entire time. The attention to detail in the bathroom was lacking.. exposed rusty nailheads and screws in the very small shower. The bathroom was serviceable, but have come to expect better from VRBO stays at this price.
Our trip to move our son into school was made so much easier here at this quaint and cozy place. The owners have so many personal touches that made us feel right at home. Very bright, clean and all the amenities one needs for a trip away, right down to the basket of snacks. Would absolutely stay here again!
Enjoyed this area as we went up the coast of Maine. The cottage was so cute and comfortable. Would recommend it.
Nice touches and perfect location
Kristan was a great host. She was available and provided all the essentials. The property was walking distance to downtown. The building was quite old and unassuming on the outside but the inside of the apartment was fixed up nicely. The shower was very small but usable. Would stay again.
The place was very nice and was well stocked with extra snacks and items in case we forgot anything. Great location not far from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.
This place has old-house charm. VERY clean. Met every kitchen need. Kristan was very responsive and kind. The outside does not look like much, but don’t let it surprise you. It is lovely inside. The bathroom is super tiny, but we weren’t staying there for the bathroom! Great location to get to Acadia within 30 minutes and 40 minutes to Bar Harbor. Great place for a couple.
We stayed here for a few days while visiting Acadia National Park. While it was about a 40 minute drive into the park we really didn’t mind because we got to have a bigger place to relax after our active days. The full kitchen and living room were great. It felt very homey. A cute town for wandering around and the apartment was really stocked with everything you could need. We had an amazing trip. Thank you, Kristan!
Kristen was a great host. She was quick to respond to me and was thorough in her information. The apartment was very clean and had plenty of high quality towels and linens. It was an easy drive to Acadia and my husband especially liked staying in Ellsworth away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor!
Great location and communication with owner. Everything we needed was just a short distance away. Bathroom is small but doable. Plenty of parking behind the building
Great little apartment that felt private and in a very cute town of Ellsworth with little restaurants and a delish ice cream shop :) apartment felt private and was spacious. The host Kristan was so personable. The apartment was decorated really nicely and she had so many little touches to make it feel like a home. She provided plenty of linens, snacks, and coffee to make our stay comfortable. The apartment had plenty of space despite a small bathroom but was nice and cool with AC in a few rooms. I would recommend anyone stay in Ellsworth, specifically here, if they plan to go to bar harbor. Easy parking and a quiet town with some parks and places to walk around. Kristan was an amazing host!
Everything about this was great. Easy check in, convenient location and parking, clean, plenty of space and towels. I forgot my makeup remover and they had wipes for when I forgot them. So thoughtful. I’ve stayed at other rentals but the owners here clearly were thoughtful and nice! Thank you!!
Kristen is the best! She made sure we were well taken care of and we enjoyed Acadia!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable and easy to contact Kristan. The drive to Acadia was beautiful and about 25 mins to get to the park itself. Within the park, we did additional driving to our destinations but enjoyed the beautiful views
Kristin had the house in perfect order. Everything we needed and then some was available to us. It’s a perfect spot for two!
This is a great property. Close to downtown Ellsworth - within walking distance of everything. The place was clean and ready for use. Easy access and parking. I highly recommend it!
We enjoyed staying in quiet Ellsworth in this older, but clean welcoming space. The small one bedroom apartment was cutely decorated with amenities that were just enough for my husband and me.
Kristan was so kind and helpful and answered all of my questions quickly with a lot of great information about my visit. It was a cute place and I would definitely stay there again.
We really enjoyed our stay! Kristan was very easy to communicate with. We loved all the little touches. Apartment was very cute and cozy. Our only con would be the street noise at night. It seemed to be a fairly busy street even throughout the night. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay and the location of the property.
