Classy apartment with terrace few steps from the lake

We spent 12 nights in the apartment. The location is the asset of the apartment - it is great- however it's also the greatest liability. The traffic noice from the street is significant and can be heard and felt in the entire apartment pretty much 24/7 (a few quiet hours during the night). The apartment is functional, but rather worn and definitely not as luxurious as the photos show. However, it does have a certain charm. We were surprised to find that there isn't direct access to the terrace from the apartment. It's one floor down and shared with the apartment up stairs. Having said that, the terrace is nice and more spacious than expected. Sharing it wasn't, in our case, an issue at all. The kitchen is lovely, but poorly equipped for cooking even a simple meal at home. Cristina was helpful and reacted immediately when any issues occurred. We have spent several vacations in Cernobbio over the years, in different vacation homes (also in city centre) and compared to the price level/comfort etc. This apartment is in our opinion well over-priced.

My friends and I found this flat to be lovely and ideally located; we all thought that Cristina was terrific. She was easy to communicate with via email before our trip and she remained available while we were there. She also helped with any last minute needs we had. I loved loved loved the kitchen! It's gorgeous and inviting to use. I highly recommend this flat for those of you who are considering a stay in Cernobbio or Como. This was especially ideal for a wedding we attended at Villa d'Este if you have an event to attend there.

At first wie have to mention that the contact with the owner/provider was perfectly easy and friendly. Cernobbio is a good Place to visit Regio lombardia. Just 45min. away from Milano , near to como and switzerland. The Appartement is nice, even on the Fotos it looks a bit more luxurious than it is. We think, compared to other places we have been, the Price is a bit to high for the comfort you get, but compared with the average price in Regio como it is good. Everything is in there, you Need for your Stay. Overall we would Come back, because you can join a little bit of nice italian lifestyle. The flat is located directly in the old Part in the Center of cernobbio, near to the lake and maybe 500m away from Villa d'este. There Are some Nice Bars and Restaurants in there.
