A stunning spacious second floor two bedroom two bathroom apartment, with lift access, inside York’s historic city walls a stones throw from the River Ouse with river views from both bedrooms and the living room. Furnished with solid oak and leather furniture to provided a true home from home you should have everything you will need. A large bay window in the lounge is the perfect spot to watch the world go by. There is a large flat screen TV, a DVD player, Xbox 360 and a Bose iPod docking station. The fully equipped kitchen has all that you should need for self catering requirements and has quality appliances. The apartment is immaculately presented with many additional touches. The master bedroom has a striking solid oak four-poster bed and en-suite shower room with heated towel rail. The bed in the second bedroom can be set as either a king size bed or twin beds. Both bedrooms have ample storage space, hairdryers and clock radios. This second floor apartment has lift access. Complimentary internet access via WiFi is provided.     This is my husband and my second time to book a stay at Elaine’s flat in York. When our October travel plans came together and we knew we wanted to return to York for a visit again, I immediately booked with Elaine. Her place is clean, perfectly located to access York’s tourist sights, restaurants, fully stocked kitchen (equipment) and best of all her place has secure dedicated parking. When communicating with Elaine she responds very quickly and worked with me once we reached the UK communication wise (via text). I especially love the touch of the meet and greet with Amanda to show us around the flat and make sure we know how to enter/leave the flat/building. Amanda comes with a bit of food (milk, croissants and juice for the morning) which is so helpful especially for weary travelers flying from the west coast of the US. I can’t say enough nice comments about Elaine’s flat - we look forward to our next visit in York and of course staying at Elaine’s flat.

    Very convenient location, very comfortable accommodations and very easy checkin process. Elaine and Amanda were incredibly responsive and eager to answer any/all questions and provide info about the flat. Would stay again when next in York.

    Lovely property that was well furnished with the key appliances (dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, etc). Comfortable beds for two adults and two children. Very close to city centre and we were able to walk to the major attractions and to/from the train station for arrival and departure. Recommended!

    All was excellent . A nice touch was some basics left in the fridge and kitchen . A great welcome from Amanda . The location is 5 mins from the centre . The only negative was the noise late at night and early morning with trucks etc . If you’re a good sleeper there wouldn’t be a problem. Great view to the river from the lounge . Good communication with Elaine the owner .

    The apartment was immaculately clean, and had everything that you could want for a lovely holiday. We were met as promised by the very nice keyholder, and everything was clearly explained to us. The location is brilliant, only a few minutes walk from all the main attractions in the city, and we had a great view over the river. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen nicely set up. It was very convenient having a safe parking space for the car, which we didn't need at all during our stay!

    We had a lovely visit at Elaine's place in York. Her flat was very clean and tidy as well as had all the amenities we needed to make our stay enjoyable. I appreciate the extra care that Elaine arranged with Amanda for a meet and greet. , this helped our transition at the flat go smoother.     We had a fantastic time in York at this accommodation. It has everything that you will need I could even do a bit of baking. Very comfortable and so close to the Centre of town. Fantastic view out the window to the river as well. Highly recommend this one. Debbie Heck

    Fantastic place for four plenty of space one en-suite one good size family bathroom with a great shower. Comfy lounge and well equipped kitchen ( not that we used it to many nice places to eat on the doorstep) will definitely look at this the next time we are in York
