Stayed Sep 8, 2025We stayed here in early September at the start of our 3 week tour of Ireland, it has a great location and very walkable to places like Jamesons, Guinness Storehouse, and Temple Bar. Lots of coffee, pastries, pubs, etc nearby. Would stay here again if in the area.

Stayed Oct 9, 2025We didn’t even stay. The place is very run down. No towel bars, no toilet tissue holder, seedy towels. The floors are scratched and worn with gaps where the floorboards not longer meet. The skylight was covered in cobwebs and dust.We have used VRBO many times but this place is absolutely unacceptable.

Stayed Sep 11, 2025Location was great! Restaurants and bars surrounded the area. Someone was meeting us to check in but I wasn’t given that information. I was told to punch in a code at the keypad and we’d be buzzed in (it didn’t work). It took about 5 minutes for the person checking us in to confirm she was waiting for us. Bed was very hard. Toilet didn’t flush properly. Wind blew in from the skylight in bathroom. Paint peeling. Krupps coffee maker didn’t work. No hot water in kitchen sink or bathroom sink. No instructions on how to turn on the heat, although there was only one day we wanted it on. No paper towels. Only one small hand towel in kitchen. No microwave. Easiest checkout process of our trip. This place could be fantastic! Just needs a little work.

Stayed Jun 26, 2025We had a lovely time. Apartment’s location could not be better, and it was perfect for our family of four. If you are sensitive to city noise, bring ear plugs! The bars close at 3am and it can be quite loud.

Stayed Jun 20, 2025We had a wonderful stay at this city center apartment! From the start, communication with the host was excellent—friendly, responsive, and helpful every step of the way. The accommodations themselves were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location truly can’t be beat—right in the heart of Dublin’s Temple Bar area with incredible access to restaurants, shops, and historic sites, all just steps away. Being able to walk everywhere made exploring the city so easy and enjoyable. As expected with such a prime location, there was some street noise at night from the busy area, but it’s a fair trade-off for being in the center of all the action. Overall, this apartment was a perfect home base for our Dublin adventure, and we would absolutely stay here again!

Stayed Jun 7, 2025This apartment is in a great location central to everything you would want to do in Dublin. We walked to the Guinness Storhouse, Trinity College, Christ Church Cathedral, etc. everything was right there. Inside was very clean and had everything we needed. As others have said it is noisy outside the apartment, but we were able to sleep for sure. The host commented everything thoroughly prior to check in so everything was perfect and we easily got in when we arrived. Highly recommend this place for a stay in Dublin!Cheers!

Stayed May 3, 2025Summary: we enjoyed our stay, the location and accommodations. I would recommend this apartment to anyone considering staying here. Read below for some further details. The Good- Garrett was very proactive with his communication leading up to the trip and extremely responsive to any questions I had. - location, location, location… everything you could want or need is within walking distance. Food, drinks, shops, convenient stores, they are all within 5-10 minutes walking distance. - As described, there is a washer/ dryer in the apartment… that is golden….- Apartment is clean, well stocked and has everything you would need to call a home base for a week. Things to consider:- The elevator broke 4 out of 5 days we were here. If you are unable to do stairs, consider that could be your only alternative to get to the room for days at a time…- There is no AC in the apartment. While here in early May, temps were in the 40’ F (4’ c) in the morning/ evening and 60’ F (16’ c) at the hottest time of the day. That said, the apartment got warm during the day even with all shades drawn. It did cool down by late evening hours. Opening windows would help, but no screens to keep unwanted guests out (birds, bugs, etc…)- Saturday night was live music night and they went on until 10pm.- The windows are per the era of the building (nothing wrong with that); but that comes with the understanding these are single pane windows with wooden frames, so you hear everything outside.

Stayed May 18, 2025The photos are accurate but can’t express the noise factor of the location. It’s loud all night with revelers, ambulances and construction. This was to be expected being so close to the Temple bar neighborhood, but made more intense as we needed the windows open for air as we experienced an unusual heat spell and there’s no AC. There were 2 fans that helped immensely. Beds were hard and pillows not the best. The living area was fine and the coffee provided was excellent. Location is great for getting around on foot, just bring ear plugs!

Stayed May 12, 2025The property is exactly as pictured and the owner is great to work with. He proactively reached out to us to arrange for check in prior to our departure from home and was easy to communicate with when our arrival ran late. The unit is, clean, well supplied and kitchy as would be expected in an older building. It has all of the necessities and is in walking distance to all that Dublin has to offer. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Apr 18, 2025Thank you so much Garrett for this amazing experience. We were in the heart of all of the action, staying above a local shop. We were able to cook eggs for breakfast, sleep in separate bedrooms, eat together at the table, lounge on the couch - and the best part was the people watching and convenient location. Walking distance from so many fun things. Highly recommended!

Stayed Sep 16, 2024The weather in Ireland during our stay - 18 degrees and partly sunny - was uncharacteristic for the season however the apartment was well over 100 degrees during the day and cooled at night to a steamy 90. We had to change in the hall at times where it was 75. There was a small desk fan and semi working larger fan provided but these were inadequate to say the least . Not one window opened to allow any fresh air in. There was no way to cool the place down to something sensible and tolerable. The decor looked stylish and contemporary in the photos but was old and worn. The apartment was clean and had a great location but we were unable to rest at night after a busy day because of the overwhelming heat and the lack of fresh air circulation. I would not recommend the apartment unless some changes are made to create a viable HVAC capability of the apartments interior temperatures. You must be able to heat it up and cool it down depending on your needs and this could not be done.
