The downtown area is the heart of Copenhagen. This is where you will find the pedestrian street Strøget, Copenhagens shopping Mecca. The downtown area also has numerous museums and historical points of interest. Particularly The Round Tower, The Stock Exchange, Christiansborg and Nyhavn are worth a visit.

If you want to relax like a Copenhagener, enjoy a cup of coffee in the old Latin Quarter, locally known as pisserenden (Piss Gutter). The Latin Quarter has a number of trendy shops and pleasant cafés such as Robert's Coffee. You can also pay a visit at Tivoli, Copenhagen's amusement park, built in 1843.

Tivoli is right in the middle of downtown and is a must for children of all ages. There are also a number of gourmet restaurants in Tivoli, such as Nimb and The Paul. If you like markets and gastronomy, try out Copenhagen's market halls. They are a stone's throw from Nørreport station och carry everything from fresh fish, fruit and vegetables to gourmet chocolate and delicacies. If you need a breather, you'll find The Botanical Gardens a good place to unwind.

The apartment was decorated beautifully and the beds were comfortable. The location was also close to lots of things--yet it was quiet because of the courtyard setting.

A very quiet and centrally located property close to major attractions and central station. The only downside is there is no fan in bathroom so need to open windows after shower probably due to it being an old building. Overall a nice stay.

TV didn't work. Says Scrambled services so presume the card has expired? Remote control for TV does not seem to work properly eitherDrainage of shower poor so after 5mins the whole room starts to flood.Chandelier hasn't been dusted in about 6 months so dust floats down to the table as you eat.

The location was great… the drain to the shower was not cleaned and made the shower flood the bathroom, other than that it was very nice.

The apartment was excellent for our short stay for a weekend. Centrally located and close to all the “must visit” places in the city. Well equipped kitchen so that we could make full meals.

This was a wonderful apartment with lots of character. It was very quiet and comfortable. The location of the apartment was excellent-it was close to train and metro stations, museums, restaurants and the main shopping streets. Would definitely stay there again!

Church bells rang every 15 min from 0800 to midnight so be aware (otherwise very quiet and off street). Parking in area is limited (lots nearby are $$$). Location was superb. Lots of choices for dinner, bars, convenience stores, shopping, several landmarks including Tivoli. Check in was simple. Would stay again.

This is a beautiful place in the heart of Copenhagen. Walking distance to the central train station so that you can use it as a hub for your day trips. The grocery store and main square is nearby for easy accessibility. The place is clean and well-stocked with supplies. The windows open into a private garden / car park area and is very bright and cheery. Overall an excellent place and location!

I stayed with my family, including two kids (9 and 11) for several days and it was perfect. The apartment was clean and spacious (the ceilings must be over 14’ high) and it had everything we needed. The location was amazing. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Copenhagen.

This location is amazing. Steps from Tívoli and right in the heart of everything. The apartment is large and the kitchen is very usable. We cooked half the nights we were there and had everything we needed to make gourmet meals. There are two rooms which was excellent for the kids. Access to Apple TV made streaming a piece of cake. Outstanding VRBO!

when i first found this property on VRBO i was skeptical. in my experience, when something seems too good to be true it usually is. even after i made the reservation i fretted about some hidden gotcha. it wasn't if anything, it was way better than promised. way, way better. the location is beyond fantastic if the goal is to have excellent access to central København, restaurants and bakeries nearby, must-do venues to experience, and total walkability (with easy access to the excellent DSB transportation system). the property itself was just spacious enough for me, my wife, daughter, and son-in-law to be close, yet private. even my Danish relatives were impressed. nestled on the ground floor in a darling courtyard facing inward to mitigate any potential exterior noise with only the occasional footstep heard from the floor above, the quiet made it almost too easy to sleep in! the handoff was seamless and thorough with a bottle of (good!) wine and yummy chocolate waiting. the washer/dryer came in super-handy (although a bit perplexing to a (this) foreigner (perhaps include a user manual for future guests?)). the beer provided in the fridge was cold and delicious. to my wife's delight, there was even a shoehorn provided (she's a recent convert to the tool). it's the little things, right? honestly, the only drawback i can muster is that i couldn't stay longer. well done team, you provided an excellent service at a fair price - it was almost too good to be true.
