I thought the amenities were terrific, with one exception, (which I think I kindly told the host about), the bed pillows. My opinion ; they looked great but too thick, too stiff.Other than that, lovely!

Overall, my stay was great. There was a bit of trouble (for me) in finding the place, and some difficulties with getting in, but otherwise everything was perfect. Everything was well-decorated and working, and there was a great place to park. Would definitely recommend, especially if you're looking to stay close to Chico State (15 minute walk, 5 minute drive). I would absolutely stay again!

The Citrus studio cottage is very charming. I loved the craftsmanship of the home. Old charm was mixed with new functional upgrades. The decor was very charming as well. The living space has everything you need to comfortably enjoy a relaxing stay. Being Chico State alumni, we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood the rental was located at to and from downtown and campus.

We were in Chico to see family and attend our nephew’s graduation at Chico High School. The Citrus Studio was perfectly located and had all of the Chico charm. It was a great central point for biking to Bidwell park and a short walk to Chico HS. I wasn’t sure how parking would be for the location. We had no issues at all, since there are essentially two parking spots. Even though it’s a studio there was ample space. I really appreciated the small walk-in closet that allows you to store your luggage out of sight and avoid that cluttered feel of living out of a suit case. The back patio was much larger than I expected and easily stored our two bikes. The design of the studio blended old and modern which felt comfortable and interesting.

My mother stayed here while in town for a wedding and loved it. It was super cute and she loved the little patio.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Citrus Studio in Chico. We enjoyed the lovely furnishings and the well stocked kitchen for coffee every morning. We would recommend this place for people looking for an easy, clean, cozy, and central place to stay in Chico.

Once inside, the place was a dream. I was consistently surprised and pleased by all the thoughtful designer touches that show amazing hospitality. Though I didn't take advantage of cooking in the full kitchen, that was a wonderful surprise, too. The fenced backyard was great for having coffee in the morning and listening to birds. I did have trouble getting into the property. The address didn't give the information needed (or maybe I missed it somewhere), so I had to ask 2 neighbors how to find it, then wait for a callback from host about the keycode. But this was a minor issue, compared to the lovely stay inside the house. Thanks, I will come again!

This is a beautiful and clean unit with a well stocked kitchen and everything you need to enjoy your stay. Within five minute drive of Chico State and downtown Chico - very peaceful location with parking and a lovely private patio with a fire pit. I would definitely stay here again.
