For me, the location was great. The area seemed safe, front door and studio doors locked with an easy push code to enter. I loved the Comet Cafe just around the corner for food. I walked most everywhere on MKE and had no issue a bit of extra time getting to where I need to from the location.

This is a small studio apt in a poorly maintained building in downtown Milwaukee. It does not have a water view as advertised. But more problematic was the fact that the lock on the building did not work and the building was not secure. Anyone could enter the building at any time. There were also bags of trash on all the stair landings and a broken window in the “lobby”. I had tried to contact the host twice before arriving to get the access information and gotten no response. Finally I got that info on the day of my arrival. When I contacted the host about the broken building lock , their response was that they were not responsible for the building. They reported that there had been “ no break-ins reported”. My wife and I did not feel it was a safe place to stay and asked to cancel the reservation and receive a refund. The host said that was not policy. They did not offer an alternative place to stay. They said they would call me if they could get a locksmith to repair the door. But they never called back. We did not stay and are still waiting for VRBO Customer Service to respond to our complaint. Poor service, poor apt. Do not rent from this organization.

Bed, bathroom, kitchen, and a desk. Its a solid set up for a short stay. Milwaukee street parking will always be a pain, but there is enough around the block to not be a huge issue

The outside looked rough and bags of garbage were in the grass. Once you walked in the main entry, it smelled real bad, once again, garbage bags were in the corners of the room. The wooden staircase was dilapidated, and it smelled like it hadn't been cleaned,or repaired in a long time, boards were popped up on the landings. The room was pretty rough, floor wasn't flat you could see hallway light through the door and door frame(needed to be rehung) and the online pictures were outdated. Area rig was taped down around the edges. When i originally arrived to the property, i almost went directly to a hotel instead. Find somewhere else to stay.

The location of this property is amazing! It is walkable to very trendy neighborhoods with tons of amazing restaurants and bars. If only sleeping there and you don’t mind it being dirty go for it. There is a number to contact (no after hours) if it isn’t clean but we got in at 3am due to flight delays. We chose to stay due to the inconvenience of finding somewhere else. The pictures are fairly accurate but they are outdated. It appears the property was quickly remodeled and cheaply done. The flooring is coming apart, broken furniture in the room and a rug that was taped down to keep it from rolling. Our bedding, towels and high touch surfaces were clean. The floors, window sills and walls otherwise were filthy. This listing needs an overhaul of repairs and a deep clean.

I visited Milwaukee for a graduation and selected this property primarily for the location which was across the street from my family. Upon arrival I became concerned as the building foyer and stairs leading to my floor were not impressive. But once inside the rental unit I relaxed. It is a very nice studio and I was very comfortable. Being a southerner I was unfamiliar with radiator heating but figured it out and was quite comfortable. It was so nice having a refrigerator and microwave. I will definitely rent here again if I have the need to visit family in Milwaukee.

While the inside of the apartment is lovely, the outside is poorly maintained. Garbage in hallway and yard, smell in hallway. Heat is sweltering. They provide a cooling fan, but the bathroom remains unbearable.
