Chic 2-bedroom apartment in superb SE Rochester with AC, WiFi

Do not book with this host! Here’s my story: I had another property with this same host booked in Rochester for a Wednesday night because my family member had surgery scheduled for Thursday. A week before we were set to travel, the surgery date got moved to Wednesday so I messaged the host to see if I could change the date of the booking. No response. I messaged four times over four days and she never responded so I canceled the original booking. Still needing a place to stay on Tuesday night, I booked another property with this same host. The booking was confirmed and I got parking instructions with a check in time of 4:00. By 5:30 I will didn’t have entry instructions so I messaged the host. This time she got right back to me and said I had cancelled the booking. I explained that was another booking on another date but she refused to respond to email or phone calls so I was left to find a hotel last minute the night before surgery. At the hotel I called VRBO and customer service agreed that I had a booking. They also tried to call the host to get a refund for me and (shocker!) she didn’t answer. I will continue to pursue a refund but don’t make the mistake I did - find a more reliable host!

Not impressed. Received a message through VRBO regarding cancellation of reservation. Never confirmed with me that I received message. Luckily I was reviewing the reservation on day of check in. Never received a cancellation notice….charges are still on my credit card.

I booked with points. Host was very rude to me about check in stating 9:00 pm was too late to communicate. I ended up losing my points. Very disappointing experience

Loved our stay was warm a cozy. Perfect for our need during the njcaa tournament. Thanks
