Old decor and nothing fancy, which you can see from the pictures, but very clean considering its on a 200 acre farm above barn storage. The bed was comfortable. Only amenities that werent provided that we needed was a hair dryer. For the sake of being informative to others, know that you are above barn storage. We killed dozens of flies everyday we returned from our hikes in Shenadoah National Park. It didnt make the place feel dirty. It was more of a nuisance. Also, perhaps adding a picture of the outside would help. I arrived at midnight and was unable to see the address numbers. Since there was no picture, we didnt know which building it was or how to get in. Its the big blue building by the way and you get to the entrance by walking along the side next to the fence and going up the stairs on either side. Unit B is on the left if you looking at the property from the backside. It was quite easy to figure out in the daylight.Minus the struggle we had to get in at night, everything else was to our expectations and cleaner than expected. Giving it 5 stars and would return.

What a wonderful place to stay. The location is quiet and peaceful, and a great place to unplug and unwind. However, it is close enough to Luray and SNP to serve as a base to explore these attractions. The house is nicely situated in a farm with mountains visible in all directions. The owner, Debbie, was very responsive, remarkably friendly and kind,

This was the perfect stay for our family. We were there to explore luray and Shenandoah with our 5 year old and 2 year old. They loved seeing the baby and momma cows. It was clean, great location for everything the drives were easy and minimal to get places, and the communication with Deborah was wonderful! We would stay here again in a heart beat!

If you are looking for a unique country experience, this is a great place to stay! The house sits off the road about a half mile down a farm gravel road complete with friendly cows. The views from this location are beautiful with plenty of space to wander. The accommodations were very clean and well furnished and decorated. It was very inviting! The owner was very hospitable and provided us with everything we needed; even towels and dishes for our pets and pastries for us upon our arrival. This was a very special place and we will definitely stay there again when we are in the area. Thank you so much for everything!

The loft was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was dog friendly, which is a must for me. They even provided a small bag of dog treats and some towels and bedding for the dog. The property is gorgeous. Rolling hills, which were the cow pastures, with the mountains in the background. It's was nice to be able to walk the property with my dog and take in the scenery. Only about 20 minute drive to Shenandoah national park, which is great for taking long hikes in the mountains.

We were just looking for a place to getaway from the city for a long weekend. This place was it. Quiet, beautiful countryside, and close to Luray and plenty of stuff to do. This has a great little porch for sitting and drinking coffee in the morning. We brought our dogs and they enjoyed it as much as we did. There is plenty of space for them to run around as long as they were supervised. The cows visited us one morning, it was great.

Charming cottage in the country, just minutes from Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park. You will wake up to stunning views of the mountains when you open your eyes! Kids enjoyed running out each morning to see where the cows were - and specifically how close they were - and see if they could find their cow. Peaceful and quiet. We brought charcoal and cooked on the grill, made s'mores, and enjoyed the cool mountain evenings and mornings on the porch. There was plenty of hot water, a large fridge, a large indoor table plus the table on the deck. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware for our short stay. Beds were comfortable. We were just a few minutes to a Walmart and Food Lion to stock the kitchen and a few minutes to the Luray Caverns. SNP is nearby and we made daily trips there for hiking. Owner was very easy to work with during the reservation process. There appears to be an adjacent cottage/rental but it was vacant during our stay so it was just so quiet and relaxing for our family. Would be a great rental for a family or extended family or friends traveling together if you could rent both units.
