The host was present upon check in. Told us the rules and asked we leave it like we found it. We definitely could not have done that. The bathroom had obviously not been cleaned after the prior person. Thankfully I had Clorox wipes and found his cleaning supplies. I can confidently state the place was left cleaner than we found it.

Rental was clean and well kept

One thing that was upsetting was that there wasn’t onsite parking as described in the details. There is only street parking which can be difficult to find and you have to move your car each weekday to avoid citations. I may not have chosen this place had I known this portion. There were some cleanliness issues in the kitchen, but the overall stay was good. The short walk to the beach was perfect.

Location of the property is amazing! Allowed me to walk anywhere that I needed or wanted to go. Great choice!

1-2 min walk to the beach. Parking kind of stinks. If you don’t have an automobile it’s perfect.

Love how close to the beach it was. Parking was on the street and I thought that was going to be a problem but we were always able to get a spot.

Bedroom was teensy. Unable to walk around it. Had to shimmy in & out Kitchen- appliances put up way too high, unable to access. And absolutely no parking. Owner said it wouldn’t be a problem since it was off season- still had to park several blocks away. Can’t imagine how far away you would park if summer. And there were ants, in both kitchen and bathroom. Owner seemed surprised but there was ant spray underneath the kitchen sink

On first arrival, the owner was there to meet us to let us in. He provided a list of many rules for our stay and gave us the door code. Two days later, we receive a note that states he asked us to please turn off lights when we left and that we had not three times. This was extremely unsettling because it made us feel like we were being watched or he was entering the property while we were gone with all of our belongings out. Our last night, he knocks on our door around 10 PM to ask us what humming noise we were making and he walks through the door to look around. I was asleep in the bedroom with my white noise playing and my mom was in the living room. They weren’t sure what caused the noise and he leaves. Approximately 10 minutes later, he comes back and knocks on the door to ask again what the humming is and says he can hear it on the side of the wall. He asked my mom multiple questions and it finally occurred to her it must be my white noise playing so he leaves again. The next morning he comes back down again to bring us a vaccum to clean the apartment with. The place was not properly cleaned on our arrival, with a dirty bathroom and hair still in the shower from a prior guest. The shower also does not drain well and the water quickly accumulated. Altogether, his behavior made us feel unsettled and like we were being watched during our stay.

Greeted by owner. David was very helpful and informative. The home was beautiful.

Property was @ 1/2 block from beach. Very clean and comfortable. Landlord lived up stair and was available but not interfering. Only drawback was parking. Parked @ 2 blocks away. Would stay again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay, especially the location. We rented bikes and were able to walk or ride everywhere we wanted to go. Dave was quick to communicate and be helpful.

Place is great! Close to everything. Love the new patio. He has bikes to rent. New BBQ. I will be returning ASAP!

This property is in a great spot. Super close to the beach and well within walking distant of some great food/drink options as well as the grocery store. David was always available and helpful. As with anywhere in San Diego, parking can be a bit tough to find but we always found a spot within 2 blocks.

Location was great!! Short walk to the beach. Cute little place-suitable for a couple. Bed was comfortable. Parking was the only downside-park on Pacific!
