It was like staying in a prison surrounded by the beautiful sights and sounds of Paris which you couldn’t see or hear from the tiny little box of an apartment. The wifi didn’t work, no AC, the beds were uncomfortable and the apartment was dark and dingy. The best part was the location and the horror of the apartment made you want to stay outside as much of the time as possible. I guess that’s the only positive. I strongly recommend not staying here unless you have absolutely no other choice.

I stayed at an apartment in Paris and found the location to be fantastic—just a 12-minute walk to the Louvre and 20 minutes to Notre Dame, plus it's right next to a metro station. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the owner responds quickly to any issues. The apartment is clean but quite small, suitable for two but too tight for a family. The building is old and has an unpleasant smell, there's no view, and the narrow spiral staircase without an elevator could be a problem for some

Fantastic central location, easy access to Metro, walking distance to Louvre, tons of cafes, shopping, etc. We’ll equipped with enough towels, pillows, sheets, and kitchen items. Clean and well kept. The only downside is that it is extremely tiny! But that’s to be expected for the price and location. Would stay again.

Excellent location, the kitchen has everything you need. The downside is that there is not enough free space, it is difficult to place things. But this is typical for the city center. I would like to replace the pillows, they are too high.

The appartement is small. The location is super near Louvre and Notre Dame. In the appartement are insects and small cockroaches. It took us more than 4 weeks to get back our deposit after several mails. It’s a hassle.

The sofa and rug were disgustingly filthy. I would not let my dog sleep on either. The apartment has NO view… just the inside courtyard which is absolute horrible, filled with debris. Roaches and ants were found on multiple occasions. Don’t be fooled by the photos of the listing. I felt ripped off.

Property was as advertised and property managers were excellent. Great access to RER and metro and the neighboring street (Rue Montorgueil) is fantastic for cafe's and shops. Easy walking distance to Notre Dame, Le Marais, and the Lovre.

Great central location walking distance to Les Halles shopping & metro. Also walking distance to great range of restaurants, coffee shops & more. Place is cute & good for two people but would be very crowded for more unless they were children as the second bed is a couch that converts to a bed taking the sitting dining area. I specifically asked for one flight of stairs due to the health of my husband & corresponded at length to confirm this prior to booking. When we arrived it was three flights of winding narrow stairs which my husband had to navigate for our 10 day stay. Apartment was equipped with washing machine/dryer & kitchen facilities. We had problems with the stove & oven & when asking how to make it work were told to Google it. This meant we could not use the oven at all but finally worked out the stove top & washing machine. The toaster was broken & although we asked for it to be replaced it wasn’t. The double bed is old & needs to be replaced as rickety, noisy & hard. In summary the best location you could ask for but the property manager needs to be honest about the stairs when health & mobility was a key concern raised when making the booking.

Over all good stay and centered in the heart of Paris! Very clean.Had a bit of a struggle with checking in and haven’t received deposit back. Submitted time for our departure however 15min before the maid was at the door and waited by the stairs until we left. Did not put a damper on my trip by any means and I as a great area to have food and drinks at anytime.

This was my first time using Vrbo and most definitely my last. Here’s why. Before I even got to the flat a third-party company asked me to pay an additional safety deposit that wasn’t paid on the Vrbo app. I flagged a scam right away and demanded to know more about it. They proceeded to answer most of my question by e-mail instead of the Vrbo app, which also isn’t right. The check-in instructions were not very clear, I sent them texts via the Vrbo app and got answers only the following day on email. I ended up asking a tenant in the building to help me get in, who fortunately was very nice and helped me out. For the premium price I’ve paid, I was expecting all the necessities like dish soap, hand soap, coffee pods for a machine they advertised in their ads, pair of scissors, laundry pods even more than a roll of toilet paper for 8 days would have been good. I’ve travelled a lot via the main Vrbo competitor and never saw a flat this poorly equipped. It took me 2 days to troubleshoot the internet on my own. There were no guidelines for the flat about garbage, check-out policies, etc. I have left the place spotless but then still got charged a random fee for «additional cleaning fees » which I disputed but never got the money back. It was a terrible experience, one I have decided never to repeat. Stick with what works and protect the consumer. In this case; the Vrbo competition offers better support.
