Great house next to the lake

We spent a week at the apartment overlooking Lake Garda. It's in a fantastic, peaceful location right next to the water - in a beautiful historic building. With parking and easy access to all the other places we wanted to visit in the region. It was a real treat to be able to walk out of the apartment and have direct access to the beach and swimming in the lake from the terrace. Patrizia gave us a lovely welcome and was exceedingly helpful in every way. We loved it here and would definitely come back again. There are some great restaurants nearby too - we walked to La Cucineria and had the most delicious pasta and fish of the holiday. Excellent pizza up the road from Pizzeria La Macina in Cecina.

Patrizia was very welcoming and we liked the apartment and our stay very much! The view is beautiful and you have a possibility to go in the lake next to the house. We would definitely come back! :)

Very helpful owner and a comfortable stay.

We had a really relaxing stay at this apartment. Everything was easy and straightforward and Daniele was an excellent landlord who dealt with all of my pre-holiday enquiries quickly, and he was waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived. Everything was as described, with immaculate bedding and towels, very comfortable beds and everything we needed in the kitchen. The Wifi worked well, as did the TV. The photos on the website are exactly what you get. The little quiet port is beautiful, as is the beach area (very good food at the bar on the beach). Thursday's market is great - fabulous food stalls in the square and then masses of clothes, shoes, handbag stalls etc in the street going down to the lakeside. Daniele recommended Paradiso restaurant ( up in the hills overlooking the lake) - do go! It has great food and the most magical view. I do recommend this apartment - we had a really wonderful time.

My husband and four children stayed here for 34 days from mid-May to the end of June. It was a dream from start to finish. The apartment is a perfect mix of old [wonderful flooring, beautiful building, traditional garden, and a feel of character] and new [air conditioning, dish washer, elevator, nice lighting, clean sheets, etc.]. Once you meet Daniele you will realize the love of his place is put into every detail. We took the bus [right outside our door] to Moderno almost every day to hit the beautiful beach, stayed through lunch, grabbed an ice cream and walked the 1/2 hour walk back in the early evening. From those times we as a family had lots of great laughs and will take away wonderful memories. You can stock your fridge with the help of the kind couple who runs the Despar market one block up. The apartment is close to everything you need in terms of food, and there is a fun restaurant nearby. Still, a car is nice to have to visit places like Verona, and the rest of the lake. The ferry ride across the lake is not to be missed. The garden is the perfect spot for dinner and is a magical spot for all. This is a perfect get-a-way with loads of comfort and character. When we leave in a few days, I will be very sad. PS. Probably NOT the place for young people looking for night activities -- although I would have loved it in my 20s, too [but I have always loved peace and quiet and a beautiful view].
